Chapter 16 - All Gone Wrong

"Hello sister. Or should I call you, Y/N?" A mysterious voice asks as I wake up in a rush. Except, I don't know where I am. Last time I was awake, I was in the same room as Nya, about to fall asleep. But now, now I'm somewhere where everything's pitch black and all I have as guidance is a random voice who knows who I am.

"How do you know my name?" I ask the mysterious voice, anxious to find out more of where I am.

"You are my sister and I am your brother, of course I know your name!" The voice exclaims. "Here, let me show you." The voice tells me as I feel something or even someone grab my hand. The voice must know that I'm still confused as to how he knows me.

"Here, read it." The voice says handing me a familiar document. I look at the files in my hand which read,

"But I've already read this." I explain to the voice but he just opens up the file on my brother. "Wait that wasn't there before." I point only noticing that my brother has a name now. "Morro? Is that his name?" I ask the voice as there is no one else to ask. "Yes, that's my name. And where I am, only the departed go. That is why I was never able to look after you. But I promise lil sis that one day, I will return." The voice says who claims to be my brother.

"Wait, why can't you be with me now?" I ask still confused on what's going on. "Ask Sensei." Is the last thing the voice says a breeze comes out of nowhere and hits me in the face waking me back up to reality.

"Y/N? Y/N? Wake up, you're scaring the crap out of Lloyd." A familiar voice says. Cole. I'm then being shaken to death by someone and my guess is Jay. "Y/N! WAKE UP BEFORE I THROW LLOYD OVER THE SIDE OF THE BOUNTY." Jay screams into my ear which finally wakes me up.

"Huh, oh. WHAT WAS THAT FOR??" I scream right back at Jay.

"Y/N!" Lloyd yells embracing me in a hug from my right side. "Yeah? What's going on?" I ask the other ninja around me as they look just as confused other then Zane. "You appear to have been sleep walking." Zane explains as Cole helps me up from off of the couch which for some reason I was on. I then feel something in my hand, paper like, so I look down to see the document that I was holding earlier in my dream. I then open it up and look for my brother's file. Morro. Former Master of Wind. Deceased.

I bling twice and rub my eyes to make sure I wasn't dreaming. It said the same thing. I then handed the documents to Cole and asked him to read what it said on my brother. "Morro. Former Master of Wind? Deceased. Y/N what is this?" Cole questions as I just shrug my shoulders.

"Something Nya gave to me so I could find out about my family." I respond bluntly.

"What do you mean, Y/N?" Lloyd asks as I give him sad eyes. "I never knew my family. Before Sensei brought us all together, I was living out in Ninjago City Streets alone. But before that I was orphaned and adopted several times but I ended up running away. They eventually gave up looking for me. That's why I never wanted to go back to Ninjago City and why I was so sensitive on the topic of what we were doing before Sensei found us." I explain, tears staring to fill my eyes before both Lloyd and Cole bring me into a hug. Kai, Zane and Jay eventually join in on the hug as I wipe away my tears.

"You're good now, pip squeak. You've got us now." Kai reassures me which I reply with a light laugh. "Thanks."

"We should probably go find Nya and Sensei now." Cole states as everyone lets go of me and we walk up to the kitchen and eating room, with mine and Lloyd's hands wrapped around each other's.
