The party was already loud when Soobin and Beomgyu made their entrance. They were late, not fashionably, just late and it was all Soobin's fault.
"Why did you take too long deciding what you were going to wear..."
"Oh shut it," Soobin whispers and grabs Beomgyu's arm dragging him inside the enormous house.
The place was nice and surprisingly very colored, contrasting with the other rich houses in the neighborhood. The ceiling was filled with neon lights, mostly greens and blues and the exterior pool had pink tiles that turned the water into a light shade of pink. There was alcohol everywhere and lots of people dancing in the living room, moving their bodies in syntony with the music that was playing, while others were just getting drunk. And talking about drunk people...
"What are you doing?" Beomgyu asks when he spots Soobin grabbing at least four beers at once.
"I need a drink."
He takes one of the bottles to his mouth and takes a big sip, his face cringing when he feels the terrible taste of the worst brand of beer. Without wasting any time, he walks in a random direction and searches for a place to sit, Beomgyu silently walking behind him.
"What's wrong?" Beomgyu asks as soon as Soobin jumps on a comfy sofa.
"Nothing..." The older simply answers, taking another sip of his drink.
"You know you can tell me anything, right?"
"How am I gonna tell you something if there's nothing to say."
"You know..." Beomgyu starts carefully "I've been noticing some things and I don't want to be noisy, but if you fought with someone and want to get something out of your chest I'm here..."
"What the hell does that supposed to mean?" Soobin looks at his friend with an angry expression.
"It means I'm here for you Soobin."
"Well, I don't need you to be here for me today. See you later." Soobin gets up and when he sees Beomgyu mimicking his actions, he stops him. "Don't you dare follow me, I'm about to get laid."
After that Soobin just leaves, disappearing in the wide crowd while Beomgyu is left alone. A lot of things about this party seemed unpleasant to Choi Beomgyu, especially the multiple drunk people that kept constantly bumping into him as if he was an invisible wall. And maybe he was, since nobody really wanted to talk to him. Tired of everything, he walks up to the living room, hoping to find Kai.
But everything seems to stop in time when Beomgyu's eyes fall on a specific blonde figure. His arms were wrapped around a tall guy's neck and he was smiling like he was in the happiest place on earth. The person whispers something in his ear and the blonde just laughs it off, giving him a playful tap on his shoulder. And precisely after that, the dark brown-haired pulls Taehyun by the waist and catches him off guard by joining their lips together. Beomgyu fights the urge to throw up when he sees Taehyun accepting the kiss and grabbing Eunwoo's face with his sweet small hands, definitely kissing him back.
Beomgyu's feet start to move by themselves, taking the ravenette to a place far, far away from those two. Every inch of his body was hurting and he felt his chest wanting to explode. He spots Jake's almost empty mini bar and sighs in relief, taking a seat and placing his hands on his head.
Am I going to die? He asks himself, feeling his lungs run out of air every time the image of Taehyun and Eunwoo kissing crossed his mind. Without thinking twice, he grabs the first bottle he sees and takes it to his mouth, drinking non-stop until he reaches half of it. When he puts down the bottle, he cringes because of the awful taste of cheap alcohol.
