[ O i k a w a ]

I took Tuesday off, so now it's Wednesday and I'm not looking forward to school because of one person in particular. Life is just fucking difficult right now and with Iwaizumi having it out for me, I don't know if I can handle it. Yes, my parents make things better, but that doesn't mean I'm happy.

When I am happy, it lasts for a short period of time. No one knows this, not even Sero, but I'm suicidal. Have been ever since Sato did what he did to me. I don't find pleasure in life anymore, I don't feel loved by anyone. Yes, my parents love me to death, but that's not what I meant. I don't feel loved by anyone but them.

Pulling into the parking lot, I spot two familiar faces waiting for me at my parking space next to a white 4-door Jeep Wrangler. Atsumu and Akaashi? What are they doing there?

Stepping out of my car, I look over at them with a brow raised as I grab my backpack from the passenger seat. "What are you two doing?" I ask curiously, shutting the door and locking my car while walking around the front to meet with them.

"Waiting for you, duh," Akaashi says, rolling his eyes.

"W-Why?"

"What do you mean why? We're your friends! I'm offended that you didn't think we were. Hmph." Atsumu says, huffing with arms crossed and stomping his foot onto the ground. Did he just say... friends? Do I have friends? "Kawa?" He says in a questioning tone, my eyes widening. Did he just give me a nickname?

"S-Sorry... U-Usually people are only friends with me because of my looks." I say honestly, slouching.

"Tsk, they're fucking idiots. Anyways, how are you feeling? Bokuto and Shirabu told us that you left because you were sick and threw up. Although Shirabu said that there was more to it than just that." The ravenette says worriedly, glancing at Atsumu.

"I'm fine now, and what do you mean by that?"

"Well, Shira saw what was on your phone. Said that your face was literally drained of color and that you were as pale as a vampire." Atsumu states. At this, I gulp and look around nervously. "You don't have to tell us who that person was."

"My ex, the person who sent that message was my ex."

"So he was right..." Akaashi mumbles. "Ah, let's forget about this and go inside, yeah? You're gonna be staying all day, right?" He asks, chuckling as I nod a yes.

"Good, because we want to introduce you to the others at lunch. Also, the others told us how Iwaizumi is out to get you, don't worry about him. You got us to protect you. Heheh, it's not like he's stupid enough to beat you up." The faux blonde says, grabbing my attention as I stare at him.

"Ignore Atsumu, Iwaizumi isn't stupid enough to do that," Akaashi says. "Although I wouldn't put it past him." He mutters with brows furrowed.

Walking into science, I walk over to my designated table and sit down across from Shirabu. "You okay?" He asks softly, he, Bokuto, and Semi looking over at me. I nod before laying my head down on the table. "Switch with me, Bokuto?" He asks, bringing his attention to the owl who nods and stands up, switching spots with Shirabu.

The copperhead lays his chin on his hand with his elbow on the table before rubbing my back. Why is he doing this? I don't mind it, of course, but why? Is he my friend too? I got Kuroo's approval to be friends as well during first period.

"Oh stop with the glares, Semi. You know I love you more than anyone else in this universe." Shirabu says, smiling at his boyfriend whose face turns red. "Hehe, got ya."

"Shut up," Semi responds with a frown, looking away all flustered. Bokuto snorts, shaking his head and rolling his eyes with a smile on his face. These two are really cute, I hope I can be like that with someone.

Lifting my head, I look over at the doorway to see Iwaizumi entering the room with Sakusa beside him. They both sit down, Shirabu glaring daggers at Iwaizumi who rolls his eyes. I feel sick again, but it's stress-induced nausea because I've been anticipating this class ever since I woke up this morning.

"You shouldn't be here." Iwaizumi finally speaks, everyone at the table looking over at him except for me.

"Iwaizumi fucking Hajime! Knock your shit off before I knock your teeth out!" Shirabu says, standing up with fists balled up. "And before you say I'm bluffing, you know damn well I'm not!"

The teacher stands up and walks over to us with a frown. "What's going on here?" She asks as I pull Shirabu down back in his seat.

"Iwaizumi is being a dick to Oikawa."

"Well, it's not my fucking fault my dad hates his dad. That motherfucker took everything from him. This waste of space doesn't deserve to be here. Just stating facts." Iwaizumi spits out coldly, Mrs. Hayashi scowling.

"You! Go to the principal's office! And make sure to be honest since you were stating facts." She demands, pointing to the door. The spiky brown-haired male stands up and glares daggers at me before walking away. The teacher looks down at me with an apologetic look on her face. "I'm sorry, he's always been a problem. If he bothers you again, tell the principal or one of the teachers." She says before walking back off to her desk.

"I tried to reason with him on Monday but he won't fucking budge. He's dead set on making Oikawa's life hell. I think there's more to it than just his dad. He's a manipulative bastard and he's very picky about Iwaizumi's friends, I have to pretend to be a jackass just to enter the damn house." Sakusa says, frowning. "Anyway, my parents are gonna be gone next weekend." He adds, smirking.

"Oooh, does this mean party?" Semi asks, smiling smugly.

"You bet. You in, Oikawa?" The curly-haired raven asks, looking at me.

"I uh... my parents won't let me."

"Just tell them that my parents will be there and that it's only our friend group going. No alcoholic beverages. But that's the complete opposite of what it will actually be. Atsumu will pick you up." He says, insisting.

"Okay, fine," I say, slouching forward, suddenly feeling better since Iwaizumi has left.

"That's the spirit. Hey, you know that we're your friends now, right?" He asks as I nod sheepishly. "Good because you thought Akaashi and Atsumu weren't your friends. Yes, he told me."

"Oh how lovely," I respond, laying my head back down before looking back up and frowning. "Are all your friends in relationships?" I ask curiously, everyone at the table nodding. "Are you all in relationships with guys?' Again, more nods. "Is anything in the friend group straight?"

"Iwaizumi is straight, according to him he's as straight as a pole. Honestly, I've never seen him look at guys the way he looks at girls. He's fine with us all being in gay relationships. I'm pretty sure that if he did turn out gay, his parents would disown him. He's got some pretty fucked up parents if you ask me." Sakusa says. "He has a stupid curfew, he's only allowed to spend time at a friend's house for 2 hours. If he wants to stay overnight, he has to beg his mom."

"My parents aren't like that. They accept me for who I am, they're loving, caring, and accepting. I have this crazy ex-boyfriend that did... awful things to me. My dad lost his mind when my ex was getting sentenced in court, he attacked him. Luckily he wasn't charged with anything since the judge understood his anger. But my ex was let out on bail a few weeks ago which is why we moved. He's a year older than I am, he graduated high school last year. Now he's after me again despite the restraining order." I say, staring down at my lap.

"Damn... I'm sorry you have to go through that." Semi says.

"I knew something was up with you, I told Iwaizumi that but he said that he didn't care. He's... I don't know who he is anymore. None of us do." Sakusa mumbles, looking down.
