Y/n leaned on the counter and sigh, "Why are we doing this again?" You pick at the edge of the laminated "Be Kind Rewind" sign taped down next to the cash register.

"Because we need to go do normal, young, happy people things, Y/n." Robin popped up from behind the counter with an armful of returned videos, working her way through checking them back into the computer. "And, if we leave Steve alone too long he forgets how to be a likeable human."

That was when the man in question picked up another pile of videos to reshelf. "And when I leave you two alone too long you start to get in your little bubble of sparky observations."

Robin gave him a look which he shot right back at her. "And Robin is trying to set you up with that freaky kid Dustin's been babbling about."

It was Y/n's turn to shoot Robin a look. "Seriously?"

She put her hands up in defense. "You are the one who stares at him."

You fold your arms and raised an eyebrow. "Is Vickie going to be there?"

Robin dropped her arms and stammered, "Yes, well, I don't, know, probably, but, that, she's, you're changing then subject, y/n! Are we going or not? I-I don't even think that either of them will be there but maybe we can take our minds off the fact that we currently are obsessed with people we can't be with."

With a sigh, you finally relented, "Fine." She turned to Steve, "Pick me up at 8?"

You were one hundred percent ready murder Robin when she pulled you into the basement and made you plop down onto the couch next to her. "It's truth or Dare, y/n! It'll be fun." She added with a pointed stare, flicking her gaze over to Vickie talking to Eddie on the other side of the room. "We're here to have fun, right?"

You sigh, "Fine. Who goes first?"

The clearly drunk guy on your right, points at Robin, "Her. Truth or Dare?"

They were a few round in and thankfully everything had been tame and a little fun. You giggled as Robin threw her hands up in victory, having stacked the impressive eighteen empty beer cans that were on the table in front of them. "BOOM! Y/N! You're up, truth or dare."

You finally cave and say, "Dare." And immediately regret it when you see the mischievous smile spread across her face.

"I Dare you to go over to Eddie and ask to sit in his lap."

You whimper and stand up, "Fine." You keep looking back at her as you move over to where Eddie was sitting. She didn't tell you how to ask him! You stand in front of him and ask, "Is that seat taken?" Pointing at his lap with a smile.

"That's my lap." He says with a confused smile.

"I know what I said." You reply, spinning to try to quickly make a getaway back to Robin to tell her how much you hate her, but you're not quite fast enough.

"No, it's not taken at all." You hear from behind you and you freeze as he pulls you by your hips into his lap. He pulls you in close, letting his arm wrap around and rest high on your thigh as he leans in and whispers, "We will finish what you started." As you shift on his lap and feel exactly what you started.
