Loki hurried through the snow covered town. The snow didn't bother him, but the wind was really getting on his nerves.
He went to the building that the other variant of Wanda had him in, hoping it would be where Wanda was since that was the only building that seemed to stay standing in the end.
When he arrived through, she wasn't there.
"Wanda!" He shouted, hoping for a reply.
He heard nothing.
He cursed under his breath and hurried through the falling town. His eyes caught sight of a faint red glow in the distance, and he immediately began that way.
He arrived in the largest building in the town. From what he saw, all the way in the back of the main room, Wanda was barely levitating above the snow.
Her eyes were closed and red magic surrounded her.
She wasn't dead.
Loki hurried over and tried to grab her out of the magical shield she made, but it was solid.
Loki gave a huff and he summoned his own magic to break the shield Wanda made for herself.
Thankfully her magic was weakened so he got through.
Wanda's fingers were red with hints of blue. They looked bruised almost. Her skin looked wax like and she was shivering more than someone with an average cold would be shivering.
"Wanda!" He breathed.
Loki summoned a jacked and wrapped it around her. She lifted her head, revealing her eyes which looked almost lifeless. Her face was just as swollen and shivery as the rest of her body and Loki did not feel very at ease.
"N- no. Y- you'll be- c- c- cold." Wanda mumbled as Loki put more layers of clothing on Wanda.
"I'm a frost giant, darling. I don't get cold." He said.
"Oh- o- okah." She said with a slow nod.
Her hands were shaking and Loki quickly pulled out the Tempad. He quickly put in the location for the Sanctum back on Midgard as Wanda's eyes slowly fell shut.
"No. Keep your eyes open for me. Alright?" He stated. He pulled her onto his lap, making sure he could feel her pulse as he aligned his fingers with her neck. His fingers immediately felt colder as he made contact with her skin.
"Y- you're w- warm." She said.
Her voice was incredibly low, barely even a mumble at this point. It sounded like her voice was raspy.
"Yes. Yes I'm warm." Loki nodded.
Wanda leaned in on him, her knees moving towards her chest as she curled up and let her face buried itself in Loki's neck.
Loki finally got the location pressed in correctly and he casted a time door. He picked Wanda up, not sure that letting her walk would be a good idea.
He quickly went through the time door, looking for Steven since, well wasn't he a doctor?
"Strange!" He shouted once he was at the sanctum.
No reply. Jeez why did people keep ignoring him in times like this!?
"I need your help!" He sounded genuine, unlike his usual snarkiness with the wizard.
Strange must've noticed this now cause he portaled next to Loki and immediately saw Wanda, who was a shivering, freezing mess.
"Where have you two-! Oh god, what happened?" Strange asked, immediately walking and gesturing for Loki to follow.
"We had to deal with these asshole variants and I'm not sure how long Wanda was out but she was stuck in a blizzard with almost nothing and I don't know how to treat Midgardian problems." He explained quickly.
