Tamaki went to his dorm then fell asleep. As soon as he woke up he messaged Mirio. He was furious. This was his final straw.

Tamaki: We need to talk.

Mirio: Oh?

Tamaki: Meet me at our normal park at 12.

Tamaki: Don't be late.

Mirio: Alright

Mirio on the other hand was frightened by the messages. Tamaki probably just found out about Yuyu. The blonde hated keeping secrets from his best friend and he despised having to stay away from him. Since it was almost 12, he quickly got dressed and started walking to the place. As he walked, he refreshed Instagram seeing a new post by Nejire. His eyes widened and he sighed. Tamaki was probably going to tell him that he's dating Nejire. Mirio looked at the picture then sighed. When he got to the park, Tamaki was already there sitting on a bench. "Hey Tama. " Mirio said, as he walked up to him with a bright smile. He sat down beside him but Tamaki glared at him then put his hands in his pockets. "Why didn't you tell me you had a girlfriend. You were the one who made the rule a-and yet you broke it." Tamaki tried to make himself sound serious but he couldn't help but stutter. Mirio sat in silence for a bit then answered. "She didn't want the relationship to be public. I still should've told you for our health. How'd you find out?" Mirio asked him. Tamaki's heart broke again, "Nejire told me. I'm guessing Yuyu told her." Tamaki told him. Mirio could hear the hurt in his voice.

"What's wrong Tama?" Mirio asked him. Tamaki covered his face with his hood then let his tears off. "W-we're distancing apart. The mark means nothing to you anymore, it's just an obstacle now. You regret marking me, I know you do." Tamaki sobbed, Mirio put his hand on Tamaki's shoulder then sighed. "Yeah... we're distancing apart. We're getting older and there's things we can't experience since we're mates, but regret is not what I feel. I already know we're going to overcome this like we've done before. You're still my best friend, I love you Tamaki." Mirio told him, he pulled the omega in for a hug. Tamaki cried then pushed Mirio away. He was friend zoned once again. He wanted to tell Mirio about his feelings, but that would just be embarrassing himself. Tamaki wiped his tears then got up. "Hey! Don't just leave! I know it has to be deeper than what you're saying Tamaki." Mirio said, he walked after Tamaki. Mirio grabbed his arm and brought him closer. "Do you not like my touch anymore?" Mirio asked him then pulled him in for a tighter hug. "Talk to me Tamaki." He whispered in his ear.

Tamaki was about to push him away again but he missed Mirio's smell. He was so angry at Mirio for friend zoning him for the 100th time, not telling him that he had a girlfriend, avoiding him, basically everything. "I- I um." Tamaki stuttered, becoming embarrassed and shy in Mirio's grasp. "You- you haven't even gave me a hug like this si-since middle school and I'm- I'm trying to be mad at you." Tamaki told him. Mirio laughed then sighed. "I know. I'm sorry. Controlling myself around you was so hard in middle school and I knew I needed way more control than I had when we got to high school." Mirio said, they sat back down on the bench as they continued to talk to each other. "You had trouble with your instincts?" Tamaki asked, shocked. Mirio never seemed to have any trouble. "Uh yeah? Tamaki you don't know how many times I had to stop myself from having sex with you or fighting someone because they were looking at you too intensely." Mirio said, with a shy but goofy smile. Tamaki blushed then looked at Mirio shocked. He seemed to have no idea what he said. Tamaki covered his face with his hands. "Hahaha, don't be shy Tama. What about you?" Mirio asked him.

"I- w-well, hissing at other omegas that talk to you, since we stopped taking in each other's scent everyday, reacting to your scent every time I smell it." Tamaki murmured. Mirio felt terrible for being selfish and not thinking about his mate's needs. "Well, I'm sure we can make a schedule for both of us to be comfortable." Mirio told him. He slowly let go of Tamaki realizing the hug was probably overstimulating him. Mirio took a deep breath then smiled. "W-what about Yuyu? You should tell her about everything if Nejire hasn't told her already." Tamaki said, as he hesitantly moved away from him. Mirio shook his head reluctantly. "I can tell she's with me for the sake of saying she's dating Lemillion. Nice girl definitely but I don't think it'll last by the end of this week." He said, then Tamaki hummed and got up. His face was flushed, he was going to end up doing something he regretted if he didn't leave. "I need to go. Thanks for talking with me." Tamaki said, then he got up and Mirio smiled. "Where you headed, I can walk you there." Mirio offered as he followed Tamaki.

"No, no. I-I'm good."  Tamaki stuttered, Mirio got the hint after smelling Tamaki's suddenly sweet scent. He waved goodbye as Tamaki quickly ran away from him. He still felt bad for being so selfish, he was going to make it up to the omega one way or another.
