Chapter 20

Tamaki woke with a fever. His heat must be about to begin again. He saw the medicine he asked for by his now cold omurice. He held his head as he stood up from the couch. He couldn't smell Mirio anywhere. The omega walked himself to Mirio's room and laid on his bed. Tamaki didn't know what to do. They needed to talk about this, but Mirio's too guilty too. It was really unusual for Mirio to act like this so he didn't know what to do. All he could do right now is sigh and stroke his cock as fast as he could to get rid of his heat. 

When the dreaded week was over Tamaki made a doctor's appointment to make sure the morning after pill actually worked. Mirio still wasn't home yet. It made him worry. Had Mirio ran away? Did he know Tamaki was pregnant and didn't want anything to do with him any more? Maybe he ran away because Tamaki wasn't good during his heat. He pulled his hood over his head as he thought about why he hasn't seen Mirio in 9 days. He brought his phone, he had no message from Mirio since before their cycle. He had been repeatedly calling, texting and sending pleading voicemails. Tears ran down the omega's face as he sent another message hoping the alpha was alive and well. 

Tamaki: Hey Miri. I hope you ate breakfast this morning. I'm on my way to the doctor's office now. Please call or text soon. 

Tamaki looked at the message before he sent it. Tear drops fell on his phone as he began to sob silently in public. He just wanted his alpha back. When he got to the doctor's office, he signed himself in and waited. He just wanted Mirio to text him back saying he was okay and coming home. "Tamaki Amajiki." The nurse called, the omega walked up to her, making sure to keep his hood down so nobody would recognize himself here. The nurse sat Tamaki down on the bed and grabbed her clipboard. "Alright Amajiki, what are we in for?" She asked, as she washed her hands then put on blue gloves. "I- um... uuhm." Tamaki stuttered, he froze realizes he had to tell the nurse that he and Mirio accidentally had sex. He pulled his hood down then muttered to himself. "This is so embarrassing." He mumbled, he felt the nurse put her hand on his shoulder and looked at him with a warm facial expression. "Hey, this is a doctor's office. No one here is going to judge you." She told him. Tamaki shook his head then cleared his throat. "M-me, me and my mate a-accidental mated during our cycle. I- I just wanted to know if I w-w-was pregnant or not." Tamaki spat out. 

The nurse nodded, then wrote something down on her clipboard. "Alright Amajiki, we'll need a urine sample and a blood test just to make sure. If those are both positive then we'll do an ultrasound and talk about your baby." She told him, before leaving the room. Tamaki wanted to die. Jump off the nearest 60 story building. It seemed like forever until she came back with a urine cup and needles. He quickly got his blood drawn then went to the bathroom. He decided to call Mirio again while he was in the bathroom, just to see if he would answer. Nope. Tamaki did his business then washed his hands. He looked at the cup then bit his lap. He really could be pregnant, with Mirio's baby. Or even babies. He had a feeling it/ or they would look just like him. A smile came to his face and he opened his phone. 

Tamaki: I haven't found out the results yet, but I'm kinda hoping it's positive. Please text me or call me back. 

He sent without one thought. He turned in his urine sample then went back to waiting. He was bored out of his mind and resorted to playing games on his phone. When the nurse came back she had a smile on her face. "Well, Amajiki. You are not pregnant. Is there anything else you want or need?" She asked him. Tamaki felt a huge sense of disappointment, but he kept together then smiled. "No, thank you though." He said, as he got up and walked out of the doctor's office. He looked at his phone and he cried even harder. Why did he want to be pregnant so badly, all of a sudden? 

Tamaki: Not pregnant. Mirio, please I'm begging. 

Tamaki didn't hold back his sobbing this time. Everyone watched as he walked down the street with tears rolling down his face. He unlocked his door then recognized a familiar smell. "M-miri?!" He yelled looking around the house. He even busted through the bathroom door, to show a perfectly healthy Mirio getting dressed. Tamaki hugged him tightly then slapped the alpha across the face. "I deserve that." He said, wiping the omega's tears and hugging him back. "W-why were you ignoring me!" The omega yelled. "I know. I just, I was just so guilty and needed time to think after my rut. Listen, let me make us some tea, we'll sit on the couch and talk about everything." He told the omega. Tamaki sniffed then nodded his head and began hugging him again. After the embrace, the alpha went to go back the tea. Tamaki was to wash his face of the dried up tears. Then they both went to the couch.

"Starting from the beginning, I'm so sorry I was being rude to you before my rut. Usually I start feeling easily irritated before actually acting like that but I had just woke up like that, still everything I did and said I didn't mean it." Mirio began saying. Tamaki listened, right now all he could do was nod his head. "Y-you shouldn't just blame yourself... we're both a blame. We should've talked about what to do when we felt the cycle coming anyways. I- I don't think you should feel guilty." Tamaki forced himself to say. The alpha laughed then shook his head. "I know. Just seeing that put you in pain and risked a lot really, it really hurt, to sum it up, so to clear my mind I stayed with my mom." Mirio told the omega. Tamaki started tearing up and gave him another hug.

"Well? What will we do next time then?" Mirio asked him, still in the hug. Tamaki blushed, "W-well... I'm, I'm okay with mating during the cycle as long as we're safe." He murmured, Mirio's cheeks blew up with blush. He chuckled and shook his head. "Hearing you say that almost put me back in rut." He said, sarcastically. Tamaki blushed then covered his face. "S-stop being so dirty minded..." He said as his face got redder and redder. "So, I guess whoever goes into their cycle first, needs to put a condom on." Mirio told him. Tamaki nodded in agreement. The stayed quiet for a second, both of them just sipped at their tea. Mirio pulled him closer and then broke the silence with a sigh. "You think mating and having sex is different?" He asked the omega. Tamaki was embarrassed, but he guessed this conversation had to happen, even if it was a little later than it needed to be. "Y-yeah. Mating is like o-our instincts doing it when we're unconscious, sex is us doing it while we conscious and able to make our own decisions." Tamaki murmured, barely loud enough for Mirio to hear him. The blonde nodded as he understood what Tamaki was saying.

"Y-you're not a virgin, are you, Mirio?" Tamaki asked quietly. Mirio looked at him and hugged him. "I am. I told you me and Yuyu weren't that good together so I didn't want to do that with her. No matter what or how long I have to wait I'm giving my first time to you." Mirio's words were comforting to Tamaki. The indigo haired male, smiled and nodded his head. "Alright. Now about you wanting to get pregnant. What was that all about?" Mirio asked him. Tamaki forgot that he said that. After thinking back, those thoughts he had were definitely his instincts. "I- I didn't mean it. It was my instincts I think." Tamaki quickly stuttered. Mirio chuckled then nodded his head. "Just know Tama, the moment you tell me you're serious about having children is the moment you get pregnant." Mirio told the omega. Tamaki blushed then sipped his tea, even if Mirio had a big smile on his face he knew the alpha wasn't joking.

"Tama? How would you want your first time to be? I have a feeling you'd want it slow but I really don't know that much about you sexually." Mirio told his boyfriend. Tamaki shrugged his shoulders, "I guess prepared, but not scheduled. I would just want to be comfortable and go with what I feel like during the moment." Tamaki murmured, Mirio hummed and then finished his tea. Out of nowhere Tamaki kissed him and grabbed his cup. "I love you, Tamaki." Mirio said, chuckling. "I love you too." Tamaki answered, shyly. "You know we'll be together forever right?" Mirio asked with a smirk on his face. Tamaki blushed as a small smile appeared on his face. "I can't wait."
