Chapter 18

Tamaki and Mirio had been living with each other for 4 months now in their new house. They definitely had to get use to living with each other as the two found out they lived mostly differently, even if they knew each other all of their lives. But, their relationship was moving smoothly. Work was a little rough with them both coming home with bruises or cuts, but that was the life of being a hero.

Tamaki woke up in Mirio's bed. The two had cuddled last night and must've fallen asleep. He noticed that Mirio wasn't near him which was unusual. After stretching, he got up and followed the smell of food. Mirio was cook bacon and waffles. "Mmmh~ Smells good Miri." He said, walking up to him. The blonde ignored him. Tamaki was a little confused then decided to hug him. Instead, he got shoved away. He looked at the food then realized Mirio was only cooking for himself. "O-oh. Th-that's fine. I need to eat for my quirk anyways." Tamaki said, Mirio ignored him again and sat on the couch with his food. Tamaki made grilled chicken, grapes and toast. He sat beside Mirio on the couch. The alpha seemed to have a stone cold face. "Amajiki this couch is long scoot over." He coldly said to him then pushed him to the floor. Tamaki froze as he looked at his food on the floor. "Dammit Amajiki! Look at what the hell you did!" He yelled at the omega. Amajiki? Tamaki quickly cleaned the food then ran to his bedroom.

He finished eating then rushed to his room. Tamaki started overthinking like he usually did. "He probably didn't want to cuddle last night. What if he was trying to go further and I didn't notice." Tamaki said to himself as he sat in a corner of his room. He thought of everything that happened when they cuddle. "He did rub my butt a little. Was that his way of telling me he wanted to go further?" He whispered to himself, he sighed and brought out his phone.

Tamaki: Are you mad at me?

He saw that Mirio saw the message but got no response. Tears began to fall, everything was going so well, what happened? The omega decided to go to his parents house so Mirio could calm down a bit. He put on some clothes and walked out his room. He was about to work out the door without a word before Mirio pulled his arm and stopped him. "What are you doing?" He asked rudely. "M-my parents. Th-they, they wanted to have breakfast with me!" Tamaki said, making up a lie so he wouldn't make Mirio any more upset. "Whatever." He said, walking back to the couch. Tamaki wiped his tears before they fell and quickly left. He took a bus to his parent's house. He made sure his hood was all the way on to make sure he wasn't seen.

When the omega finally got there, he unlocked it with the key he stilled had. "Tamaki? Is that you?" His mother said, walking out the kitchen while drying her hands. "Oh my God. Tamaki what happened?" She said, once she saw the tears going down his face. "I- I don't know." He said, finally letting himself sob. She quickly hugged him as Tamaki got himself back together. She sat him down at the dining table them made him a plate. He had grits and bacon nothing special, but at least he got breakfast. "So sweetheart what happened?" She asked in confusion. "I- I don't know. I woke up and Mirio was being so- so rude. He cussed at me, pushed me to the ground, made me dropped my food, and ignored me. I don't know what happened..." Tamaki said, playing with his food. Tamaki's mother sat there in shock. She quickly got up. "Mom where are you going?" Tamaki exclaimed. "Going to knock some sense in him. He put his hands on you Tamaki." His mother told him.

"No mo- ow!" He yelled. He felt a familiar sharp pain in his stomach. Pre-heat pains. "Tamaki?" His mother ran over to him and helped him. "I'm fine, just- just pre heat pains." He said, still holding his stomach. His mom's eyes widened. "Pre-heat pains?" She repeated. "Y-yeah. It's been early recently." Tamaki told his mom, they both sat back down. "That explains everything. Some alphas show aggression before their rut. That's probably what's going on." His mother explained. Tamaki blushed, he had no idea. He should hurry get his things from home and bring them back to his parent's house for his heat. "I'll go get some supplements and stuff, then come back." He told his mother. She nodded then kissed his forehead. "Be safe sweetheart." She said, before letting him go.

Tamaki walked back to his home, holding his stomach in pain. Pre-heat pains were terrible, he needed to take a supplement before he breaks a fever. The omega clumsily opened the door, Mirio gratefully wasn't in the living room. He weakly wobbled to his room before Mirio slammed opened his door. The addictive smell that rushed out sent Tamaki over the edge. It put him into heat immediately. Mirio rushed towards the omega and grabbed him by his hair. Smelling each others scent sent them into a full instincts state. Meaning they weren't conscious and would never remember what happened. The alpha pulled Tamaki into his room and the rest was history.
