Korea was amazing. The atmosphere seemed so different from Japan. Tamaki looked at the amazing sights of South Korea, but Mirio on the other hand couldn't shake the nervousness of getting the mark removed. They were staying for 3 days. First day to get there and get settled, second day to get the surgery, and third day to heal and leave. Mirio felt sick to his stomach thinking about it. He took supplements to hide his nervousness, he was lucky his mom wasn't here to make it worse. The first day was full of sightseeing and trying food. "Mirio, sweetheart are you okay?" Tamaki's mother asked him. Mirio was zoned out, thinking about getting the mark removed. He couldn't enjoy himself at all. How was the world going to smell afterwards, were Tamaki and Mirio just going to continue to drift apart until they didn't care about each other anymore, or rather until Tamaki couldn't care about Mirio anymore? Mirio flinched when Tamaki's mother placed her hand on his shoulder. "Mirio?" The omega's mother asked, Mirio smiled and nodded. "Yeah, just a bit tired, that's all. Flying really zaps my energy." Mirio lied, Tamaki could tell he was lying even without smelling his pheromones.

They walked to their hotel in silence just taking in the decor of the country. After getting a little lost on the way, they finally made it to the hotel. Mirio immediately took a nap, he was so stressed out. He felt as if he could take his hair out from this must dress. Tamaki took a quick shower and got into the other bed. The hotel had two rooms but the rooms had two beds. He thought about sleeping in the room with his parents but couldn't help but sleep in the room with Mirio. Then the nervousness hit him too, he felt his mark and looked in the hotel mirror. "I- It's not too late. I'll miss it and the memories it brought. Is it really that much of a hassle, Yuyu and Nejire began dating. Yuyu told me that he broke up with her just for me. I- I didn't want that, that was a lie. I did want that. But after it leaves, we're free to date whoever, whenever." Tamaki said to himself in the mirror. Even though Mirio was blackout asleep, he could somehow still hear the omega's words. Tamaki turned off the lights and went to bed.

The next day everyone woke up early since the surgery was at 9am. Mirio's nerves were everywhere. Tamaki could smell his nervous pheromones around the whole hotel, in a couple of hours everyone will be able to smell his and Mirio's pheromones. "Y-you have to eat something Mirio. The doctors recommended it." Tamaki said, placing a plate of traditional Korean food in front of the alpha. Mirio smiled and picked up his chopsticks. "Y-yeah sorry." Mirio said as he eat his food. He couldn't focus on how good it was. "Good morning boys.  We'll need to get going, ready?" His mother asked. Tamaki glanced at Mirio. It still wasn't too late to cancel the appointment. Mirio nodded, pushing his food towards Tamaki to let him finish it. Tamaki watched as he walked away then looked at his mom. She sat beside him then sighed. "H-he's still hurting. He's been hurting since he was dating Yuyu. I feel so selfish because I still want to get it, but what if all our feelings towards each go away afterwards. Then this would all be worth it." Tamaki told his mother. She gave him a hug, then laughed. "Sweetheart, he's been taking supplements and still feeling the way he is. Yeah some of it could be caused by the distance between you too but not all of it. If it were up to me, I would've told you two to come up with a solution together rather than you just choosing if you want to get rid of the mark or not, but it's a bit too late. We need to get going." Tamaki's mother said. Tamaki nodded and followed his mother out of the apartment.

Tamaki's father and Mirio were already in the car. As they got in the car and began driving, Tamaki couldn't help but wonder what Mirio was thinking about. The doctor's office was huge. Mirio and Tamaki got out of the car and walked into the doctor's office. Tamaki knew a little Korean so he signed them in. The receptionist handed him two clipboards, one for Tamaki and the other for Mirio. They sat down and began filling out the information. Tamaki couldn't think straight, it still wasn't too late to cancel the surgery. He took a deep breath and filled out the questions. For the last part all he needed to do was put his signature, before he signed the paper he looked over at Mirio. He saw teardrops all over Mirio's paper, he saw that Mirio was on the last part too.

"Mirio... are you done?" He asked, knowing the answer. Mirio looked over at him with tears falling down his face and snot all over his upper lip. "N-no." He answered, his voice hoarse from crying. "Why are you crying?!" Tamaki said, quickly pulling Mirio into a hug. Mirio's hands quickly fell on Tamaki's waist making the omega blush a little. Mirio didn't answer but took in as much of Tamaki's scent as he could. "Mirio...?" Tamaki asked in concern and confusion. "I was such a horrible mate, you'd rather risk your life and much more just to get rid of our mark..." Mirio cried into the nape of his neck. Tamaki looked at him surprised. "N-no! I thought it'd be too difficult for us both to keep this mark and still live semi normal lives." Tamaki told him. Mirio scoffed then shook his head. "I don't want to live semi normal lives, I want to live a life where we're together forever." Mirio said as he held the omega in his arms. Tamaki's face filled with blush.  "But if you really want to... it's fine. I'm sorry that I marked you." Mirio told him. Tamaki shook his head violently. "It's not fine! I- I just want us both to be happy." Tamaki sternly said. Mirio opened his mouth to say something but then a doctor came into the waiting room. "Tamaki Amajiki and Mirio Togata?" He yelled.

The two quickly got up and grabbed their clipboards. They followed the doctor to the operation room, both of them were extremely nervous. "Alright, here's the room. We'll need the both of you to change into these gowns before the nurses arrive. Afterwards the surgery will began." He said, as he handed the boys two hospital gowns. The doctor left the room, Tamaki got into a corner, regretting each decision he's ever made to lead him here. He hesitantly put the gown on then pouted. Was he really going to do this? It's not too late yet? He turned around to see Mirio already dressed in the gown, he too was sitting down worriedly. A nurse opened the door, she brought in a rolling table filled with tools and medicine. The doctor came back then closed the door behind himself. "Alright, we'll get started now." The doctor said, as he washed his hands then put gloves on. "Amajiki can you lay on this bed for me? Nurse go ahead and inject the alpha." He ordered, Tamaki laid on the bed like he was told. He looked over to Mirio's way and saw that one of the three nurses were giving Mirio a shot. The medicine would put Mirio asleep, but when he woke up it would make him go into alpha mode.

He then felt the doctor rub his scent glance with some sort of medicine. Is it too late? He thought to himself as he felt his mark getting numb with every rub. He looked over at Mirio and saw he was getting strapped down to the chair as he was drifting to sleep. "WAIT! I CAN'T DO IT! PLEASE DON'T GET RID OF OUR MARK! I'LL MISS IT TOO MUCH!" He cried. The doctor watched as Tamaki began to sob. "We already gave him the medicine sweetheart?" One of the nurses said, trying to calm the omega down. "I DON'T CARE! IT WON'T AFFECT HIM TOO MUCH SO- SO JUST LET US GO!" Tamaki cried, louder. The doctor groaned in annoyance then ordered the nurses to let Mirio go. The alpha was already knocked out, the doctor and nurses left the room and Tamaki quickly got dressed. He grabbed Mirio's clothes then dragged him out of the room. "I'm so sorry." He kept muttering as he dragged Mirio's unconscious body throughout the hall.

Tamaki's mother saw him dragging Mirio to the car, she rushed out and helped him. "I- I couldn't do it..." He cried, as his father came out and put Mirio in the car. He also took Mirio's clothes. "It's alright, look, I'll call you guys when the medicine completely wears off. Go visit places, have fun!" His father said, Tamaki nodded and watched as he drove away. Tamaki broke down in tears. "We knew you were going to do this Tamaki." His mother told him. Tamaki sobbed in the middle of the parking lot. "That was so embarrassing. I can't believe it. I just wanna go back home." He said, covering his face. His mother helped him stand up. She hugged her son until he was ready to talk calmly. "Do you regret what you just did?" She asked him. Tamaki remembered Mirio's crying face, he was so stupid to think that Mirio would do better off without him. "No." He answered his mother. She lifted his head up and wiped his tears. "Exactly. I don't know what happened, but I know he loves you with and without that mark. You two have been inseparable since before he marked you. Plus, you know good and well you love that boy. So be proud of yourself, Tamaki." His mother told him. Tamaki blushed then nodded. Then they both went to popular sightseeing places.
