I just finish getting dressed after the shower when Tyler comes into my room.
"Hi," he says gruffly not meeting my eyes.
"Hello," I say calmly, how did your talk with Caroline go?"
"What kind of question is that?" He says stepping to me.
"Just a question," I respond not backing away.
"She told me everything, how you lied about who you are, how you knew what happened to my uncle and you knew who I was before you even talked to me," he says, not quite yelling but very aggressively.
I cross my arms and don't move from where I am, "and?"
"Why did you lie to me?" He asks taking a small step back.
"I didn't lie," I point out, which is technically true, "I never said I wasn't a vampire or that I didn't know what you where."
Tyler just continues to grow angrier and angrier but I keep my ground, he will tire himself out eventually.
"That doesn't make it ok!" He shouts now pacing my room, "I liked you and you liked to me!"
Now I'm mad but I keep my voice level, "are you kidding me? I didn't do anything wrong, you didn't tell me you were a werewolf."
"That's not the same! You knew I wasn't human and still said nothing, I didn't know you weren't human, if I did I would've told you!" He says kicking my chair into the wall causing it to break.
"Watch it," I say sternly, it's not a full moon, we both know I could take him.
"But you knew what happened to my uncle and said nothing!" Tyler shouts at me.
"You never asked," I say softly still keeping my temper.
Tyler says nothing, he simply makes angry noises as he paces my room.
"Get a grip on yourself," I scold him and cross my arms. He steps to me, his face inches from mine, his eyes glow golden, so I allow the veins under my eyes to ripple and the red in my eyes show. Even though he is fairly taller than me and is looking over me, I don't flinch, he backs down.
"Fine, I guess you didn't technically lie to me," he says in defeat.
"And?" I say getting him to continue.
"And," he says but pauses, "Mason was killed before you arrived so you had nothing to do with it."
I smile, "there you go," I say trying to sound kind even though I want to rip his heart out.
Tyler takes dip breathes, he looks physically calmer.
"Hey," I say softly as if I was talking to an upset toddler, "I like you, please don't stay mad at me," I put my hand on his upper arm.
"Fine, I like you too, but no more secrets ," he says smiling softly. I nod in agreement
He kisses me and I kiss back.
Damon knocks on my door, I am secretly grateful for the interruption, I pull away from Tyler, "yeah."
"Tyler," Damon says, "beat it."
"No need to be rude," I say in Tyler's defence.
"My bad," Damon apologises, "please beat it."
I roll my eyes and Tyler kisses my cheek before leaving.
When Tyler is a safe distance away Damon asks me, "why are you going with Tyler and Matt, not that I'm your biggest fan but as your big brother I can honestly say you can do better."
"It's not my favourite thing but you of all people should understand doing things ms you don't like to mess with a family member and their loved ones," I say to Damon as I walk past him.
