Revenge on a Salvatore

They won't kill you instantly

Not even five seconds later, Stefan calls me "Grace Salvatore, get back here right now!" His voice full of urgency "Elena is missing and Bonnie located her to a place a few hundred miles from here, we are going to get here and I swear to god if you don't get here in the next 20 minutes" Stefan says harshly using his big brother authority over me. "Fiiinnneee," I sigh, "But I warned you this was going to happen. I am compelling Jeremy to start slitting his wrist and working his way up if i am not back by the end of the day tomorrow so for your sake that you are not lying." I hang up and turn to Jeremy, I smile and he stiffens. I look into his eyes, "I'm going to hand you my pocket knife, if i am not back by this time tomorrow, start cutting yourself and work your way up your arm, do not make a sound and do not go anywhere until I get back." Jeremy looks terrified, "Oh don't worry you still have 24 hours."

I leave back to the house. Stefan and Damon are waiting for me at the front of the house.

'"Hello Grace, lovely for you to join us" Damon says walking towards me. I tense, I don't know if Damon is planning anything. Stefan quickly comes between us, "Listen you two!" Stefan says grabbing my upper arm and pulling me behind him away from Damon, "Elena is in danger and our biggest concern is, so put your petty issues aside and get in the car." Stefan basically throws my arm down making me stumble a bit. "Shotgun!" I say.

Stefan is driving to create separation between me and Damon.

I wonder who got to Elena first, it might be Lucien although I dont think he would bother. I message Elijah "plans changed, I will message you tomorrow." It feels weird messaging him so casually, it has been years.

We eventually pull up to an old mansion.

"Grace, you look a lot smaller and easy to take on, we need you to go in first and cause a distraction, me and Stefan will sneak in and will go from there depending on what is in there, but make sure you find where Elena is." Damon says leaning forward to me.

"why me?" I whisper, I ma not sure who is in there and I dont need them hearing me.

"They won't kill you instantly, get them talking which will give me and Damon a chance to get in and get whoever did this by surprise." Stefan says trying to convince me.

I roll my eyes, "I hate you both," I then make my way to the door as fast as I can.
