Doesn't mean I'm going to die

I look through boxes in my room if the Salvatore's who lived here between my death and now, surely someone left behind something I can wear to the dance. I find a black full length fitted dress, I don't have many options and I think I can make this look like Audrey Hepburn would have worn this.
I put it on and pin my hair up like she did. I find some costume peal jewellery and opera gloves.
"Knock knock," Tyler says at my door, he is wearing a button shirt with a sleeveless vest.
"Hey you," I smile, he comes over and pulls me by my waist to a kiss.
"Hey," he says pulling back for a second before kissing me again.
I take his hand, "let's go."
-------------------------
We walk in and I hear Jeremy taking with Bonnie, I pause to listen.
"Wait, look I um want you to have this," he says,
I'm not sure what it is though.
"Look if you're asking me to go steady that was the 50's." Bonnie says. So it must be jewellery.
"No I'm serious Bonnie," Jeremy insists.
"The ring won't work on me," Bonnie says. Oh my god, Jeremy thinks his ring will protect Bonnie from Klaus? Besides he needs it more.
"But it was made by a witch," Jeremy says.
"To protect from the supernatural, not for someone who is," Bonnie says calmly. Oh my lord Jeremy is frustrating to listen to, what does Bonnie see in him.
"Well I have to do something. I can't just let you get yourself killed," Jeremy sighs.
"Just because witches gave me warning doesn't mean I'm gonna die," Bonnie tries to comfort him. Dead witches warning her almost definitively means she is going to die, I roll my eyes.
"So you're saying there's a fifty-fifty shot you won't?" Jeremy asks. This is the worlds dumbest conversation, "look I'm sorry," he continues, "but you know I don't have the best luck in the girlfriend department."
Is he seriously talking about his exes with her?
"Hey," Tyler says, "are we going or what?"
"One second, Jeremy and Bonnie are talking about tonight, I want to know what they say."
"Hey," Bonnie says, "listen, I can't explain it but I can feel them, I'm empowered Jeremy, I can do this, I know I can."
No she can't! Oh my god everyone needs to remind themselves Bonnie has been a witch for a small fraction of her life and Klaus is over a thousand years old.
"Okay let's go," I grab Tyler's hand.
"What's happening?" Tyler asks me.
"Bonnie is going to get herself killed, her, Damon, Stefan and Jeremy are planning something with Alaric, I tried to stop them," I roll my eyes.
"Shouldn't we stop them?" He asks.
"No, that will get us killed with them, this is all to protect Elena, trust me, it's not worth it."
We reach the dance floor.
"We have a special shout out tonight," says the girl on stage, "this is for Elena from Klaus."
"Klaus?" Tyler asks, I shrug.
I se Alaric staring me down, what is with him.
Tyler pulls me to him and begins to dance, I see Elena finish dancing with Stefan and move onto Damon, Bonnie and Jeremy are dancing and so are Caroline and Matt.
I wonder what Matt knows, Caroline says Damon compelled him to forget, but he apologised about what happened and seemed to know Stefan Damon and I are vampires. It clicks, Matt is on vervain, and getting sloppy. He forgot to pretend he doesn't know about the supernatural. But why? Why does he care?
"We need to find Elena," Stefan comes up next to me.
"No, that's not my problem," I say and continue dancing.
"Bonnie is also missing, we think Klaus set up a distraction," Stefan says.
"Bonnie?" I ask, dammit.
"Fine," I say through gritted teeth, "I'll be back Tyler, sorry." He kisses me and I follow Stefan. I consider telling him about Matt but Stefan starts talking. "Klaus won't hurt Elena, he needs her, but he will kill Bonnie if he gets the chance."
"I told you I don't want to be apart of this," I remind him as he drags me by my arm through the crowd.
"Well I don't care, we need all the help we can get."
