Make Sure That One Suffers

As soon as we reach my house I run inside, leaving Matt.
"Where are Elena and Jeremy?" I ask Stefan.
"Her house," Stefan says, "why?"
I ignore his last question. Matt finally comes inside, "go to Elena's house now," I order him. He tries to argue but he stops when he sees the veins under my eyes.
"What's with your eyes?" Stefan asks, he knows that it's not always on purpose "why do you care so much?"
"I need Caroline alive and I don't need Tyler leaving so let's go," I order him.
"We need to wait," Stefan instructs me.
"Why?" I ask annoyed.
"We need Tyler," Stefan tells me.
"He agreed to go with her?" I ask confused.
"We aren't going to hand him over, he cares about Caroline, he will want to save her," he says as if it's the most obvious thing.
"Hey," Tyler says walking though the door.
"Hey, sorry for being so direct but we need to go," I tell Tyler grabbing him by his arm.

Stefan takes us to a camper in the middle of the woods where I see Jules. Stefan is gripping Tyler's shoulder.
"Where's Caroline?" Stefan asks her.
"Locked up tight," she answers.
"Give us Caroline and I release Tyler," Stefan negotiates, "so it doesn't have to get any messier then it already has."
"It's a little late to be waving a white flag don't you think?" Jules asks us.
"You need to leave town," Stefan tells her, "no one else has to get hurt."
"I am not leaving without Tyler," Jules says firmly.
"Tyler is free to make his own decisions," Stefan tells her, "as soon as you give us Caroline."
"My brother the peacekeeper," Damon interrupts walking from the woods, "but since Stefan got here before me I'm gonna let him try it his way before we resort to my way, which is a little bloodier," Damon's way would be faster, "so give us Caroline."
"Let go of Tyler!" Jules yells at us.
"Give us Caroline," I tell her, "it's not a full moon, it's not a fair fight and you know it, we can take you."
"I'm not so sure about that," Jules says and then she whistles.
Over ten guys emerge from the woods with weapons, I'm assuming they are all werewolves. Shit.
"Let's try this again," Jules says, "give us Tyler," she orders.
"You heard her, go" Damon says to Tyler, "get over there."
Tyler slowly walks to her.
"Which one of you killed Mason?" One of the guys ask.
"That would be me," Damon confesses proudly.
"Make sure that one suffers," says the guy.
"We can take 'em," Damon says.
"I don't know about that," Stefan says looking around.
"Well then," Damon says before rushing at Jules who dodges the attack. Then Stefan rushes at her leaving me surrounded by at least seven men.
The guys have flame throwers, they light them up.
I run behind one of them and move him side to side so no one else can get me. His fire is protecting me for now. Damon is still with Jules, I snap the guys neck and let him fall to the ground. One guy appears in front of me and another behind me. One throws a stake at me, I catch it and throw it at him, it skewers his neck. The guy behind me tries to burn me with the flames but I jump and land behind him, I kick out his knees and he falls to the ground. I plunge my hand into his chest and pull his heart out. I toss it to the side. Yet another stake is shot at me; I catch it again and throw it back at the man, stabbing his stomach and another back at the guy's throat.
I turn to see Stefan falling forwards and a man behind him with a knife.
I come from behind and sink my teeth into the man's neck before snapping it. I wipe his blood off my chin as a look for Damon. I see him struggling, he is pinned down, I have faith he will be ok, but then a terrifying noise overpowers the sounds of battle. Damon falls to the ground. I run over to him. I see blood soaking a small patch of his shirt on his stomach. He was shot. It's hugest like 1864, Damon and Stefan lying lifeless, the sounds of men shouting, horses hooves, the carriage creaking. Before I do anything I hear a girl's voice in pain.
Caroline emerges from the trailer, she is weak, bloody and bruised.
Before I can get to her Jules grabs her and blouse pushes her against the trailer with a gun to her back.
One of the guys I thought was dead gets up, before I can react a shooting pain goes up my leg, I fall to the ground to see a wooden stake sticking out of my leg.
I see a man about to stake Damon. I try to get up but before I do all the werewolves hunch over in pain holding their heads, like when Bonnie did her voo-doo on me.
I see another man come if out from the woods, but he is the one causing this. Yet another person I didn't know was involved.
"Elijah made a promise to Elena," he says. I didn't know Elijah made a promise to Elena, "I am here to see it's upheld, you need to go," he tells Stefan.
We all get up and try to leave, "get out of here now," he says.
As we walk away I hear him talk to Tyler.
"When your friends awaken, give them a message, they need to get the hell out of this town," he then walks away leaving Tyler there.
