I'm sitting at a table then I hear Jeremy, "did you tell Elena what it's gonna take to do that Klaus spell?" He asks.
"No and your not either," Bonnie answers.
"She's gotta know you can't do it," Jeremy insists.
"We don't know I can't, have faith," Bonnie says.
"That's not fair, you can't harness the power of a hundred dead witches, it'll kill you." Jeremy says sternly.
I can't believe that's Bonnie's plan, it will kill her.
"Ssshh you don't know that, I'm going through with this and if you tell anyone" Bonnie says, "what? What are you going to do?" Jeremy cuts her off.
I need to intervene, I get up and walk to their table.
"Hey Bonnie," I smile, "Jeremy."
"Grace, hey," Bonnie smiles at me relieved.
Elena also comes over.
"Hey, are you sure you're alright at the house alone with John?" She asks Jeremy.
" it's not ideal," Jeremy says grabbing his jacket.
"You haven't hear from Jenna have you?" Elena asks him.
"It looks like she is staying on Campus," Jeremy answers, "look I'm late for class." He walks off.
"John is here," I ask them. I need to pay more attention, how did I not know he was in town.
"You know John?" Elena asks me confused.
"And Isobel," I say smiling, she opens her mouth.
"Please," I say, "did you really think I would come to Mystic Falls without doing my research?"
Elena turns, ignoring me, "what was that all about?" She asks Bonnie.
"I told him he had to wear a costume and he got all uptight," Bonnie lies.
I look down and keep my mouth shut, for now.
"Hey Elena there you are," says a girl coming towards us, the same girl who reminded Alaric we were learning about the 70's.
"Okay this is gonna doing freaky," she says, "but this totally hot guy just asked me to ask you if you're going to the dance tonight."
"Tell him she has a boyfriend," Bonnie says.
"You could at least meet him," the girl says agin, "he'll be at the dance tonight. Look for him. His name is Klaus."
Bonnie and Elena share looks before Bonnie turns to me.
"Sorry what?" Elena asks her.
"I know it's a stupid name but I swear he is hot."
"Where is he, is he here?" Bonnie asks looking around.
"I don't know," the girl says.
"She's been compelled, I explain.
"But he wants to know if you'll save him the last dance. How cute is that?" The girl keeps going.
"Thanks, we will keep a look out, you can go now," I tell her.
