You go prom dress shopping with Emily

"Hey honey are you ready to go?" your mom asks as she puts on her boots. "Yes" you say as you go downstairs in your sweats. You hop in the car and drive down to this big boutique where they were having prom dresses on sale. As you hop in the car, your mom turns to you "any specific color in mind?" You turn to her and respond "red". You walk into the store and split up from your mom as you look through a bunch of dresses. After looking for a while, you kind of got bored as you haven't found the one.

You suddenly see your mom walk your way with the prettiest dress ever. It was a red dress that was tight and had loads of gems on it. You go to the changing room and try it on. It fit perfectly as it was hugging all the right curves. You walk out and see your mom who was in awe of the dress. "I think we've found the perfect dress" she says as she examines it. She then takes a picture before sending it to your dad. You go back in to change into your clothes and carry the dress back out. You give it to the lady who scans it as you pay. They put it in a sleeve for you to keep it nice in. It was $495 and you suddenly felt bad for spending so much on a dress.

Once you left the store, you walked to Panera which was right next door. You sit down as your mom orders. She sits down and could tell that you were off. "Hey hun what's wrong?" she asks. "Nothing" you respond and plaster on a fake smile. You hated the fact that she could always tell when you were upset. "Hey don't lie to me!" she said as she grabs your hands. "I just feel bad because the dress was so expensive." you say as you look down. She laughs "aw baby, don't worry about that kind of stuff. I love you and I will happily spend dads money knowing that it makes you happy. Stop worrying" she said which causes you to chuckle. The buzzer then went off so your mom then walks up and grabbed your lunch. She ordered a salad and you ordered a sandwich. As you two were eating she asks "so what shoes do you plan on getting?"
