After the man has welcomed us, he leads us up the hill towards an enormous castle - not as gorgeous as Hogwarts, but still surprisingly beautiful. He leads us inside and alots a room to every one of us. I got a room in the West tower and if I were to ascend the winding staircase I would reach the top of the tower - and Lily's room.

Right now I am sitting on my four-poster with an emerald green canopy and staring through the windows looking out over the hills surrounding the castle. My belongings are already littered across the floor but I do not have the motivation to clean them up - why would I? This is my own room and no one will enter it apart from me... and perhaps Lily, occasionally.

Damn, Lily. I cannot let her enter when my room is such a mess... ah well, I'll see what to do when she actually comes into my room. Until then, I will not touch anything.

Half an hour later I go down to the Dining Hall which is situated on the ground floor of the North Tower. The castle has four towers, in three of which the participants of the three Wizarding Schools sleep. The fourth tower is a library and I bet Lily has already taken a look at it.

A big courtyard takes up the middle of the castle and is full of flowers I do not recognise - although I must admit my flower knowledge is not that extensive - and green, very green grass.

When I reach the enormous doors of the Hall we will be having lunch in I can see red hair slipping between the two doors. A smile appears on my face and I follow Lily into the Hall.

14 pillars, seven on each side, support the high stone vault and in the very midst of the hall - which looks like a cathedral to me - one large table is placed.

All students - except for me - already sit down, captivated by the mesmerising food. I cannot blame them, for a wide range of food has been put on the table, on golden and silver plates all bearing three letters: MoM.

Mom? I try to hide a foolish grin while sitting down next to Lily and whisper in her ear: "Why does it say mom? That's ridiculous."

"No it isn't," she replies, looking into my eyes, smiling. "It's not mom, silly, it's M. O. M. Ministry of Magic."

"I knew that," I say, quickly looking away. "Yeah. I knew that."

"Bet you did," Lily replies with a grin.

Suddenly an old, bearded man stands up, puts his hands in front of his black cloak so that just the very tips of his wrinkled hands touch and clears his throat.

"Welcome, participants of the Supera Itinera, to the trainingweek. My name is Florean Ivanova and I am head of Department of Magical Games and Sports. Today you will get to know all the unfamiliar faces at this table better. Tomorrow the real training will begin, so take your advantage. But first: lunch."

After the amazing yet short lunch the tables are cleaned and put away against the massive walls. Florean invites us to stand in a semi-circle and says: "Now each of you will take a step forward, say your name, your school and a wee bit about yourself, just the general idea, okay?"

A wordless murmur responds.

"Very well. Would you mind starting, miss?"

"Not at all, sir," a tall, slim girl says, her straight blonde hair reaching her shoulders. "My name is Juliette Janssen, I'm from Beauxbatons but I am originally from the Netherlands. I'm in seventh and want to become a dragonologist."

She has a funny accent. And is slightly taller than me. How.

Next is a guy with short, messy black hair. "Hi. I'm Darren Watkins, I'm from Bergamoth. I'm in sixth and like the colour red."
