fridays were normally the highlight of anyone's week, that goes without saying, but as the newest midterm exam passer it was safe to say you'd taken the cake for best friday ever. you heard that right, the newest. midterm. passer. and as you said that out loud, your proud tutor was quick to remind how passer was not a real word, but he'd let it slide in this case.
no more useless hours of being held hostage studying or chances of getting permanently grounded for failing one pathetic little class. there was nothing like the satisfaction when mr. smith himself personally congratulated you for actually doing it, even if it was barely passing, also congratulating armin for making what seemed like the impossible possible.
it at least felt impossible up until armin quizzed you off the study guide during lunch, shockingly a splendid outcome. those extra minutes of studying and armin's small speeches of motivation were enough to get the job done.
now historia was gripping onto you with unsolicited excitement, "i say we celebrate with a party."
"oh historia, you know me so well."
now walking through the halls, school was out for the weekend and a much-needed social gathering was currently in the process of being situated.
"you guys are invited. tell your friends too."
the shortest blonde mentioned to the two boys who were also walking alongside to receive the plans on what was happening to honor the massive victory. surprisingly enough, they weren't expecting this news by the looks of their shocked faces.
"we are?"
"of course, any friend of (y/n)'s is a friend of mine." she smiled sweetly before turning her attention to arlert "unless you're traumatized from what happened last time."
this was referring to the brutal beatdown which happened on monday, something everybody just wanted to forget about. along with galliards complete existence, which was not possible since he was out at football practice while the cheer squad was also doing their own practices on the field.
"nah, we'll be there."
"we will?"
armin's attention turned to his friend, questioning the fact that eren said 'we' instead of 'i.' not that he didn't want to attend, especially since it'd been to celebrate you of all people, but like historia said, last party didn't leave the best impression on the rest. he probably would've sat this one out if it hadn't been for your next line, "you better come armin."
"i'll go."
that was enough for the guy to be persuaded, chirping out his response in a matter of seconds. who could blame him, the demand made him feel giddy inside. he was excruciatingly noticeably at your beck and call, completely hypnotized.
