It was the next morning and the girls were getting ready for school. Skyler had lent Max some of her clothes again, she was wearing a white shirt with denim jeans that were cuffed, due to Sky being taller than Max. Skyler was wearing a grey hoodie along with her signature flannel and black ripped jeans. Once they were both finished, they went downstairs and ate a cereal, only not to be met with Steve.
"Where's your brother?" Max asked, and Skyler sighed.
"He probably left early." She shrugged. "It's fine though, I have extra bikes" Skyler smirked.
Max rolled her eyes. "Okay rich kid." She joked as Sky giggled, bringing her to the garage.
Once the two girls picked out their bikes, the headed off to school, in comfortable silence. They enjoyed the birds chirping and the wind on their face as they biked to school. Skyler enjoyed the time left they had as kids before they had to deal with......the upside-down. They finally made it to school, where they left the bikes on the racks.
"You can keep it if you want." Skyler said as she put the lock on the bike.
"W-what?" Max shook her head. "No, I-I couldn't take it." She locked the bike too, walking next to Sky. "Thanks though."
She nodded her head, smiling at Max. "Okay, but if you ever change your mind, just know that my offer still stands." Sky shrugged, Max chuckled and nodded her head. The duo walking inside, to school.

Skyler had been in Science class listening to Mr. Clarke rant about...about well to be honest she really wasn't listening which only made Sky begin to feel drowsy. It wasn't like she didn't like this class, no, in fact, it was her favorite one.....but when you hear the same lecture over and over again, it tends to loose it's interest. But then, a sudden opening of the classroom door made Sky wake up. It was Dustin, he had been late, and Skyler knew why.
And she didn't like it one bit.
Skyler put her head down on her desk trying her best to ignore everyone and everything. She really didn't want to think about what was about to happen.
Once the bell rang and it was lunch time she felt a gentle poke on her shoulder, which made her slowly raise her head.
Oh...she had actually fallen asleep. Oh well.
"Um, Sky?" She heard Max.
She looked at the red head confused. "Yea?"
"So Dustin said he wanted to show us something in the AV room...but I don't really know where that is.." She trailed off.
Sky chuckled. "Yeah, okay let's go, I know where it is."
Max smiled and followed behind her friend.
The two girls got there and the rest of the group was already there.
"Ah! You got her." Dustin told Max.
"Sure did."
"Okay, so." Dustin smiled opening the proton pack that he had mad for his ghost busters costume. The whole group leaned in wanting to get a better look at whatever Dustin had inside the box.
Skyler knew all too well what it was.
"His name is D'artagnan" Dustin picked him up from the box, smiling. "Cute, right?"
Sky spoke up. "No absolutely it is not." she walked backwards, which made Dustin frown.
"D'artagnan?" Mike spoke up.
"Dart for short."
"And he was in your trash?" Max said, not believing him.
"Foraging for food." His eyes lit up. "You wanna hold him?" He asked Max, which made her eyes widen in horror.
