Ahoy! So It's been a while huh? Life happens, sorry for taking so long, but here it is!~ I'm excited to see ya'lls thoughts and reactions on this season, and Skyler's choices. I really hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it! Btw if you guys have any questions about anything I'll do my best to answer them, think of this as a mini Q&A!

It was finally summer, and Skyler was enjoying every second of it. Going to the pool, watching movies, reading comic books, hanging out at the mall. But most of all- being with her girlfriend. Her Max. She loved every moment she could spend with her favorite redhead. They went on dates as much as they could and have sleepovers almost every night. It was paradise.

As for Skyler and Max's relationship they had come out to the party. And for the most part it was smooth sailing. Obviously Dustin and Lucas basically already knew, so they were happy the girls finally got the courage to tell eachother their feelings, they thought it was nice to see their friends happy. As for Eleven she was a little confused as to why they had to come out in the first place, but also ended up completely accepting them. Will however, seemed the happiness out of the group. He said that he already had a feeling they liked eachother. He said it was pretty obvious to him. Skyler made a mental note to ask Will about that later. Lastly Mike. It was harder for him to grasp the thought of his two friends that are girls, dating. It took him a little bit, but he saw how happy they both were so he didn't say anything, instead he just tried his best to understand. It was shocking for the two girls to see Mike so understanding, Skyler guessed Eleven was a good influence on him.

Sky however, was trying not to let the voice in the back of her head get through to her. She knew this summer vacation wouldn't last long. She knew it was just a matter of time before he came back. Before the monsters found them again. Unbeknownst to everyone, Skyler had been secretly training, using her flames by the lake, taking control over her powers. She would sometimes close her eyes and focus on all the noises around her, she had gotten the hang of her super hearing now. And she's used it to her advantage, it was really easy to hear the gossip now.

Even though Skyler was preparing herself for what's to come, that didn't stop her from worrying. Especially during the night. Almost every night she would have nightmares. She would see Max dying over and over again, she would see Vecna killing everyone and everything. He would tell her that her struggle is useless and that she couldn't do anything about it. She hated it. She knew it wasn't real, she knew, but it still managed to wake her up everytime in a cold sweat. She had slowly started to break down cause of it. But she couldn't let anyone know, she didn't want people to know Skyler was hurting.

But she knew she had to tell someone, anyone, it was just a matter of how and when.

Nevertheless, manged to bring those thoughts back to the back of her mind. She wanted just one more day of fun before she had to deal with....everything. It was seven in the morning and sky hadn't been able to sleep properly, she had another nightmare and couldn't fall back asleep. She sighed and looked over to her side, slightly smiling when she saw her.

Max.

Max had spend the night at Skylers house ended up rewatching breakfast club for the 100th time this summer. They read eachother their favorite comics and listened to music. It was fun.

Smiling and moved the hair out of Max's face, tucking it behind her ear. She then leaned over and gave her a kiss on the forehead being careful not to wake her up.

"Your beautiful...." Skyler said in awe.

There was no words that could properly describe Skyler's feelings for Max. She had fallen and fallen hard. Just as she was going to get up to leave, felt a hand grab hers.
