Chapter 10

Morning came around pretty quickly.

I turn over to find that Jace is no longer next to me.

- "Jace?" I mumble.

He walks into the room.

- "Good morning." He smiles. "I want to take you on a date tonight. That's if you want to of course."

- "I would love to!" I say with excitement.

- "Okay. I have some stuff to plan. You can spend the day doing whatever you want. Later on, Isabelle will help you get ready and we will go out for supper." He smiles.

- "Okay." I nod with a smile.

I throw on an outfit and head down the stairs into the library to begin studying.

Without realizing, several hours have passed. Isabelle just walked into the library.

- "Hey, come with me. I'll help you get ready for your date." She smiles.

I walk towards her and follow along to her room.

She tosses me a dress. This one is longer than the one from yesterday. It's black with light layers. It's a really pretty dress. She then curls my hair and styles it in a pretty half up, half down look. She finishes it off with a bit of mascara and lip gloss.

- "You loo beautiful." She smiles.

I look at myself in the mirror. I do. I look so pretty. It turn to face her.

- "Thank you so much." I smile.

She takes my hands in hers.

- "It's no problem. Have fun." She smiles.

I turn to leave the room and meet Jace at the door.

- "You look beautiful." He smiles.

- "I could say the same about you."

He takes my hand and we walk over to his motorcycle. I take a seat behind him as we speed off to this very fancy restaurant.

Wow.

He opens the door for me. He enters and walks over to speak to the hostess.

- "A reservation for Jace." He said.

- "Yes. Follow me."

She leads us to this really pretty set table. We sit down as they bring our menus.

The night went great. Jace opened up to me more and we got to know each other better. Hes a really great guy. Also, who would've thought his favorite color to be lilac? A light purple.

Shocking.

After the supper. He takes me to watch the stars on a hill. I lay on his chest, looking at the sky.

The air is fresh. It's quiet. I'm at complete peace. I would be content if I died right now.

We watched the stars for about 30 minutes, before heading back to the institute.

We start making out intensely.

- "Tonight was amazing Jace." I smile as I press my lips back to his.

I can feel him smile against my lips.

He stops kissing me and cups my face in his hands.

- "I love you so much." He smiles even bigger. "I want to take it slow tonight."

I nod, still smiling. We gently lock lips. He trails soft kisses on my neck. He reaches for the zip on my dress. We slowly undress each other.

Once fully naked, he pulls me onto his lap. I straddle him while he softly kisses my collarbone. I run my fingers through his hair and I hear him softly sigh.

- I love you, y/n. I won't hesitate to remind you." He mumbles against my neck.

His lips lock mine once again.

He wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me close.

We continue to kiss, and he reaches into his drawer. He plucks out a condom and puts it on himself. I align myself over him and sit back onto his lap. Slowly moving and grinding on him.

He groans. God I love it when he does that.

Slowly our pace grows faster. He flips me over onto my back and begins to thrust.

Once we both release, he crawls out of bed.

- "Where are you going?" I question with a slight hint of sadness.

He reaches for my hand.

- "Shower love." He smiles.

We head into the bathroom and into the shower. I stand in front of him as he gently washes my hair. Scrubbing my scalp gently.

Once we are both clean, we change into pajamas's and head to bed. Jace kisses my forehead.

- "I love you. Always." He smiles with closed eyes.

- "I love you too, Jace. Goodnight" I cuddle up into his arms and we both fall asleep.
