Cooking A Meal Together

Ryder

I woke up earlier than scar to get some training in. I didn't want to disturb her again like the other day so I went into the garden. I did some push-ups, lifted some weights and did some chin-ups too. After an intense workout I saw scar on the phone through the window. She was cooking breakfast at the same time. I could get uses to this. I laughed to myself before grabbing my towel and running in for a shower. After I'd done with my shower I went back down stairs just in time to see Scarlett setting out breakfast on the table. She sat across from me.

"Morning Ryder" she said putting a hand on my shoulder as she pits my plate in front of me.

"Morning scar" I smiled.

She poured me some juice in and sat down.

"Thanks Scarlett" I said with my mouth full.

She sipped her juice then spoke.

"Don't talk with your mouth full its rude" she laughed smirking.

I couldn't help but smile. This girl was killing me! She cooking, cleaning and joking around with me. Talk about goals right. After I'd done eating I decided to ask her about the phone call.

"Who as on the phone sweetness?" I said smiling.

She finished her breakfast and I got up to clear the table. She took another sip of her juice.

"Oh yeah...your parents and my dad want to come over for dinner tonight" she said standing up following me to the kitchen.

She started washing up and I started drying the dishes.

"Really? Okay so do we need to go shopping then?" I asked in a series tone.

A burst of laughter filled the air I turned to see her laughing. Her laugh was the cutest and I joined in too.

"Scarlett... I'm serious...Do we need to go or not..." I said in between laughs.

"Yes...but sorry I can't believe how serious you were Ryder" she said finishing the dishes. I dried the last ones.

"Well we should go together and buy some stuff for tonight" I said.

Scarlett

I nodded.

'I'd like that Ryder. ..Thank you".

He came over and missed my forehead.

"Anything for my princess" he said before hanging the towel and taking a seat on the breakfast bar.

He grabbed a notepad and pen then looked at me and gestured for me to come over. I went over and stood by him when he pulled me onto his lap.

"What are we cooking tonight then peaches" he said. I laughed.

"Peaches...wow Ryder wow..." I laughed hitting his chest.

I couldn't help but fall into a hug, my head on his shoulder.

"What do your parents like to eat?" I asked.

He thought for a while.

"They like...salad...steak and veggies?" He said.

"Mhmm okay" I said.

"Oh  they like pasta and salad." He said.

I smiled and nodded.

"Anything else..." I asked.

"I know...salmon, salad and veggies...they'd enjoy that" he said and wrote the things we needed for that.

"And for dessert...?" I asked.

He looked at me with a smile.

"Ummm...A nice chocolate gateaux with cream" he said smiling.

"Sounds like a plan come on let's go" I said running to get my jacket and purse.

We got in the car and drive to the supermarket.

Ryder

I'm pretty excited for tonight. Me and scar are gonna cook together...which I know will not go well. We were going through aisles and picking up what we needed like the salmon. ..The flavorings...mixed vegetables...the cake stuff. She mainly did all the looking and I just pushed the trolley/cart. When it was time to pay scar pulled out her purse.

"Hey I forgot something here's my card I'll meet you outside ok" she said handing me her card.

She whispered me her pin and went away. I couldn't let her pay! I took out my wallet and paid like a gentleman then got into the car and waited for her to return.

Scarlett

I want to get my dad and Ryder's parents something. I know I'll get my dad a frame with me and our family in it and for my second parents...or Ryder's parents and nice canvas. I bought the gifts, gift bags and cards and went outside to the car. I put the shopping away and then put the trolley away, when I bumped into a girl

"Jasmine?!" I asked surprised hoping she hasn't seen me and Ryder together.

"Scar is you okay?" I felt a hand go around my waist pulling me into them it was Ryder.

"Ryder!!" Jasmine shouted. "Why are you with her I thought you said your parents were having a meal with you?"

Shit now we're done.

"Yes I am..I was just leaving when Scarlett here nearly bumped into my car!" he said.

I caught on.

"Yeah this supermarket is open to everyone Jasmine....Ryder just happened to be here the same time as I was! I said.

Ryder slowly let go of me. I think Jasmine noticed

"Why does he have his arms round you then?" She questioned with a smirk.

"You just bumped into her jasmine I caught her so she won't hurt herself." Ryder said.

"Oh okay." She said.

"Be careful next time Jasmine... look where you're going" he said letting go of me and closing to her

"I'm sorry Ryder I was in a rush"

"I know baby... but be careful I don't want you to get hurt?" Ryder said kissing her lips... I think I puked in my mouth a little. I did not need to see them kiss. Jasmine looked at me and smirked snaking her arms round his neck.

"Want to ditch the meal and come over?" She said going in for a kiss.

"No...Sorry...I have to go... see you in school" he said kissing jasmine's cheek and walking off to the car.

"Okay...bye...I guess..." she said angrily.

She gave me one more look then walked in to the store. I watched her go in before jumping into the car.

"That was a close one scar..." Ryder said.

I reached for his hand and rubbed circles on it. Ryder looked at me and smiled

"Thanks...that's calming me..." he said.

I smiled and carried on till we got home.
