Scarlett

After reading the note my mind went blank. I didn't know what to do other then run out of school and hide in mine and Ryder's bedroom where I felt safe. I started to cry remembering the past. The door opened and I saw Ryder's shadow moving towards the bedroom.

Ryder

I finally reached the house and opened the door. I was about to go upstairs when I saw a package for Scarlett so I decided to take it up for her...maybe she might cheer up if she saw the package. As I was walking towards the bedroom door all I could hear was sobbing...poor Scar...why is it she always gets picked on.

"Hey princess, you okay? There was a package for you...I brought it upstairs please open it ok"

"Thank...you....Ryder...." she said between sobs

"no problem babe. Anything for you" I bent down and gave her a kiss on the cheek. I walked towards the kitchen to make her something to eat she probably hasn't eaten.

Scarlett

I looked at the package for about two minutes and decided to open it. I tear the paper only to find a picture of me and brad kissing three years ago. Behind it was another note it said...

if you don't back off I will keep sending you the past day by day.

I tore the paper up and threw it in the bin and hid the picture in the bathroom cabinet. I'll find a better hiding place after but for now this will do.

I went downstairs and saw Ryder placing the food on the table so I started to help him. We sat down and ate. Ryder kept trying to divert my mind from what happened today but it didn't work. After we had finished our food I started to clear the table and Ryder disappeared upstairs.

Ryder

I wanted to do something for Scarlett it hurt to watch her be so sad. I went upstairs to freshen up so I could take her out and take her mind off the disaster that happened in school. I decided on taking her to the beach. So I began packing the bags. Just as I was about to go and tell Scar we were going I remembered we needed the sunscreen. I opened the bathroom cabinet and saw a picture of Scarlett and some dude kissing. I was beyond angry. I stormed out of the bedroom and ran down the stairs holding the picture in my hand.

"SCARLETT....SCARLETT...." I yelled

"what's wrong Ryder?"

"What's wrong? I'll tell you what's wrong....why is this photo of you kissing some random dude hidden in our bathroom cabinet?" I yelled placing the picture in her hand.

At this point I was furious. She didn't say anything. She was just standing there shocked, her eyes wide open starring at the picture in front of her.

"Can you fucking answer me Scarlett."?

"Ryder I swear down its nothing to worry about"

"oh okay enlightened me then... why the fuck is my fiancée kissing some dude other than me.... Scarlett just admits it you were cheating on me... Jasmine was right"

"Whoa hold up... you can call me ugly, fat, a loser anything you want but never call me a fucking cheater! If anyone you're cheating on me... you haven't broken up with jasmine yet and you have the decency to call me a fucking cheater....you don't even know my side of the story and your saying Jasmine was right...I thought you changed Ryder...but I was wrong once a Fuck boy always a Fuck boy" Scarlett yelled back.

"That's what you think of me a Fuck boy? " I lowered my voice...it hurt to know that she thought I was one of them

"I did before I knew you but you changed my perspective only to change it back... you finally proved you're so much more but now I realise it was all just a facade"

"Scar...I'm sorry....I didn't let you explain...Please forgive me"

just as she was about to answer me the door bell rang.

Scarlett

I can't believe that Ryder thought I was cheating on him. I was so angry I just leashed out. I think he realised what he did because he started to apologies but he has hurt me so much I'm not letting this go so easily. I was about to reply to him when the door bell rang. I opened the door only to find the one and only....Bradley Cooper.

Tears started to form in my eyes again. The one person that made my life change forever was standing at my door in front of me.

"Hey Scarlett...I see you kept the picture of us... I want to get back together" he said

"GO AWAY!" I yelled

Ryder came behind me...probably to find out what the problem was and why I screamed.

"Oh hey man...how was your first day at Avalon high?"

What? First day? Avalon high? He goes to the same school as us. Oh god why me?

"hey...school was boring as normal...I didn't know you and Scarlett where a thing"

"how do you know Scarlett? "

"Oh she didn't tell you... I'm her ex" he said smirking

I turned to Ryder tears rolling down my eyes...Ryder looked at me and then down at the picture I was holding. His eyes went wide open and I could see the anger he had before only worse this isn't going to go down well.

Ryder

I heard Scarlett yell go away so I rushed to the door to find the new kid...what was his name? Oh yeah Bradley. When he told me him and Scarlett used to go out jealously had taken over me when I saw the picture in Scarlett's hand my jealousy turned into anger. I punched him the face and told him to never come back to the house or near Scarlett again. I slammed the door in his face and turned to Scarlett who was now bowling her eyes out...

"shhh...Princess it's going to be fine..."

"I guess it's time you know the secret"

"what secret?"

"The secret from the note"

"oh! Scar...I'm not forcing you tell me"

"I know Ryder but I want to tell you"
