Who Said I Do? (EDITING !!!!)

The Reception Part 1

Ryder

"Wait" our parents called us back

"why Dad?" I asked confused. why didn't he want us to enter our own reception? He didn't answer me instead he put his hand forward and told both Scar and I to put on the blindfolds.

I put on Scars blindfold then I put mine on and our parents laughed. I didn't get what was so funny? I shrugged it off. They where guiding me and Scarlett to wherever we were going. I could hear the clicking of heels and Scar's dress crinkling as we walked. when I could no longer hear the heel I assumed we were there. The blindfold was taken off and in front of me were tables...chairs...lights...drapes...candles everywhere, It was beautiful, wait did I just say that.

Scarlet

Once the blindfold was taken off I saw the most beautiful scenery ever. There was blue candles on all the tables with a blue ribbon tied on the back of each chair. From my feet towards the main table there was a pathway of red rose petals and small candles on either side of the path. When did they do all of this?

I looked at Ryder and he extended his hand out for me. I took it and he led me along the pathway of roses to the seats. The next gesture was unexpected, I was about to pull the chair put when Ryder gently slapped my hand away and slowly did it himself. We both sat down and he took my hand and placed it in his interwining our fingers. We both gazed into each other eyes for what seemed like seconds for me. We heard a loud feedback from the microphone and my dad clearing his throat.

"Ladies and Gentlemen....We know tradition is usually when the friends and family give speeches in honour of the bride and groom but today we want to make it a little bit more modern by giving the new couple challenges to do to test their relationship".

I shuffled in my seat slightly. I don't actually know Ryder that well. In fact, I don't think we've actually sat down and spoken and got to know one another like real. I started to feel uneasy. I shuffled some more when I felt a hand grab my leg and I immediately put my hand on top. He was comforting me? I still shuffled. He steadied me. I felt as if even was watching me. My breathing got faster and Ryder noticed. I pushed my chair back and walked fast toward the door. Thank fully no one noticed my exit but I couldn't do this.

Ryder

She got up and left. She. Got. Up. And. Left. Ouch. I stood up, excused myself and followed her. What was wrong?

Scarlett

I pushed open the doors and found a seat by the fountain. I took deep breathes. Then I heard footsteps.

"Ryder...I can't. ..I'm nervous. .We not actually know one another, I don't.... want to hurt mama and dad...Ryder what should I do?"

"Scarlet... don't worry...you are not going to hurt anyone I promise"

"I just feel like I will disappoint them...Ryder, we haven't actually sat down and had a proper conversation with all the drama going on.... let's face it I only know your first and last name"

"Wait....are you having second thoughts"

"Well it's a little bit late for that...I just gave you my name in front of everyone and I promised you I would be there for you...we exchanged vows.....have we rushed into this Ryder?"

"Okay Scarlett take a deep breath...listen to me and don't interrupt me Mrs. Ryder Daniels..... I love you a lot.... I fell in love with you because of your personality... The way you can act like a child and not have a care in the world what others think of you and the way you walked into the room like a freaking sexy badass that you are"

Scarlet giggled "sexy badass"

"I told you not to interrupt me Mrs. Ryder Daniels...go and sit back down"

She listened to me and sat back down

"As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted... I love you for you....I don't care about these stupid challenges I married you because I know I can't live a day without you and the fact is that you think you don't know me when clearly you do... the way you get worried and get all nervous shows that you don't want it to hurt what we have....because it's special...like you..." I said.

I took a deep breath and stood her up and looked right at her.

"I love you...I don't care if you get the answers wrong is right...It's the fun and time we are spending together that makes its special...looking back this in years to come scar...we'll see the memories...I love you and that's all that matters" I kissed her forehead and linked her arm with mine.

I started to walk back inside the venue.

"That was beautiful and so sweet Ryder" scar said as she buried her head in my neck and rested it on my shoulder.

that was sweet. I think I'm going to cry! He was so honest and what he said really is true. He loves me...and I love him too! I love him!!

"I love Ryder Daniels" I smiled at the thought that is am in love with him.

"I love you too my sexy badass bride!" He said. I said that out loud?! Oh damn!
