Examples: He gets stabbed/slashed? His skin becomes blade resistant(if it happens enough, it becomes blade-proof) He experiences blunt-force trauma? He gains a level of shock absorption(if he takes enough damage from blunt-force attacks, it becomes shock nullification) He gets burned/frozen? He becomes heat/cold resistant(eventually becoming immune to them if it happens enough) Etc.
