Izuku was a member of the class who got reincarnated into the new world(the class from "So I'm A Spider, So What?), and got reincarnated as an Earth Dragon in the same dungeon as Kumoko(the spider girl[her name changes to Shiraori after ascending to godhood]), they meet up and form a team, taking on this new world together.
In their previous lives, Izuku and Hiro(pre-reincarnation Kumoko's name) were each other's only friend, and they maintained that friendship even after they reincarnated.
