first ' i love you '

you and joseph had been officially dating for 4 months now.

you were running around your apartment after grabbing his hat from his head.

" when i catch you it will all be over for you,
y/l/n. " he shouted, rushing down the stairs.

" if you can catch me that is. " you laughed.

you pushed open the door to your backyard and ran onto the grass.

you stopped to catch your breath and when you looked up joseph stood i front of you with a cheeky smile on his face.

" you can't run now. " he said stepping closer to you.

" oh, but i can. " you insisted.

just as you took a step to the side you felt him lift you up off your feet.

" joe, no! " you laughed trying to wiggle yourself out of his grip.

" yes. " he smiled right before throwing you into the pool.

"  you are so dead. " you said as you wiped the water from your face.

he laughed at you before holding out his hand to help you.

of course you pulled him in too.

" that was only fair. " you stated as you swam up to him.

" true. " he replied placing his hands on your waist and holding you up.

you smiled and kissed him softly.

he pulled away, looking into your eyes with pure love.

" what? " you laughed lightly.

" i love you y/n. " he finally admitted.

" finally! " you whispered making him laugh.

" i love you too. " you replied getting a warm feeling in your stomach.

he pulled you in for a hug and pressed a few kisses to your cheek.
