okay, hello!! instead of doing a interlude like i did for the first book, i'mma do a q & a just in case anyone has any question. but i'mma do where i put out some questions that i think would be thought about and answer them myself. i hope that make sense lmao.

book questions

"why is jasmine and dakota's siblingship so bipolar?"
anyone who has read the first book and this one, knows that dakota and jasmine aren't the closest sometimes. they have moments of coming together and loving each other before turning around and throwing harsh words at each other. that's because this siblingship is based off mine in real life. i have a younger brother and we have the most bipolar siblingship in existence. i actually didn't even realize how bipolar it was until a couple of chapters ago but ya know.

"does dakota actually go to therapy?"
yes, yes she does. i just don't feel like putting therapy sessions in the chapters because i have other chapters and content that i wanna get through so dakota goes to therapy off screen. as you can see, therapy doesn't seem like it's working. LMAO

"what happened to reiner?"
so reiner was in the first book heavy and little bit in this book, and he was revealed to have a background of drugging girls. he's probs in jail because he got caught because i haven't reintroduce him and i won't anymore

"will you be making a third book?"
HELL NO. no, no and no. after toxic i'm moving the hell on. i have so many other books that i wanna get to and armin and dakota's relationship does not need to go on any further. use the imagination.

"why did you start this series in the first place?"
i've been wanting to make an attack on titan x black reader book ever since i read 'playing games' by remingtonma_. that book was GODLY. along with 'ineffable' by spyralzone_. one was a connie x black reader and the other was a armin x black reader. those together lowkey made this series come to be. it was also my first book after i took a long break from writing on wattpad and changing my theme on my account so i wanted to create something new. also, all of my other books didn't have a designated race, i kinda just wrote a character. but black people have just have a privilege and personality that i didn't embrace at the beginning so i wanted to dive deep into it.

"what is actually wrong with dakota? like what trauma does she have?"
i never really specified what dakota actually went through as a teenager to have her act the way she does as an adult. obviously, dakota has a lot of religious trauma which i feel like a lot of the black community has. being forced to go to church or to worship the lord at all times. i wouldn't say this is big in her life but its there. another thing i would say is having a toxic relationship with her mom. i just feel like the black community and mothers are a BIG thing to talk about. dakota doesn't have a great relationship with her mom due to her mom either shit talking her or manipulating her or just not being as a mother should. there are a couple of chapters where i explain how things have transpired in dakota's teenage years with her mom plus her sister being a prick as well. dakota has anxiety, social anxiety, depression and oppositional defiant disorder. this last one isn't directly shown in the book, but you can definitely tell how angry dakota gets sometimes.

"where is hange?"
i realized after i finished private that i didn't have hange in the book at ALL after putting them in the character list, lmao. i'mma be straight up, i haven't really thought about them but i will find a way to make them apart of part 4. something like being kiana's aunt or something like that.

"how do you feel about mental health?"

i'm very big on mental health considering that i struggle from it and it isn't talked about in the black community. in the black community, mental health is considered 'fake' or 'seeking attention' and black people can't even fathom the thought of being unhappy. you either gotta pray or get over that shit. so, in this book, i tried to really talk about a black main character having mental health and the reactions of it from her friends, her family and even her love interest.
