Maanyata's POV

It took me another minute to respond to what I heard. Did bhai just took Aditya's name? What happened with him?

Bhai touched my shoulders to bring me back.I looked at him with confusion and shock.

"It was Aditya, who under our noses passed information to Abhimanyu.He was doing business with him, in return of you",Bhai explained.

" But why? Isn't he Ranveer's friend? Why would he want to go behind his back and work with Abhimanyu? ", I literally yelled.

"We already had doubts on him. Dad and I became sure when he proposed the engagement, he wanted to have a hold on our company shares by marrying you and of course get his reward from Abhimanyu once he hand you over to him"

"I can't believe this. He did this all for money. What about his parents? They would have never supported this"

"They are unknown to his intentions"

"Why would he try to kill her if he wanted to marry her? ", Bhabhi voiced out.

"I think he just wanted to create a state of urgency,so that we think about marrying them immediately.I don't think he wanted to actually hurt her"

We heard a brawl outside the room,we rushed to the source where we found Kevin strangling Angad.I instantly grabbed his arms to stop him and bhai took Angad away once kevin loosened his hold.

"What the hell were you doing? ", I asked him.He was breathing heavily and squeezed my shoulder a little harshly.

" What am I doing? There are people ready to kill you and what are they doing. Huh? Serving you in a plate for them to slash. Your people cannot handle this, I will personally take care of it once I get my hands on that guy"

"You know nothing, so stop getting hyper", I reasoned out.Even though he was trying to show me his concern for me but the way he talked about my family made me feel angry. I know my father and brothers are always worried about us.

Bhai came forward to say something to make Kevin back out from meddling into this but he got interrupted by a servant who came with a parcel.Bhai took it from him and studied the envelope to know about it's source.

He took it inside the study, and opened it.
There was a lot of pictures in his hands, once he looked at them his eyes widen and his hands kept on shuffling the pictures.

Before I could take a look at it he tossed them into the table, some of them fell into the floor.I caught one in my hand, just a look at that picture was enough for me to know what all others contained.

It was our pictures, hugging and some intimate ones.His hands on my bare back, one with him writing his name on my hands and others whenever we were together.

My cheeks flushed and my ears turn red from embarrassment and definitely from fear as Bhai knows about this now.I secretly thanked god that none of it contained a kissing picture of ours.

"Maan, get back to your room right now", Bhai's thunderous voice made me flinch a little. I know what is going to happen now, he will kill Kevin that's for sure.

But right now whoever or should I say Abhimanyu is blackmailing him with this pictures, he wants to make it public so it needs to taken care before anything so Kevin can have sometime to stay alive.Or am I wrong? Would Bhai first kill him and then deal with this. What am I thinking? I need to do something or everything will fall apart.

Bhai took firm steps towards Kevin, who much to my dismay was completely unaffected by him. He was giving Bhai his pointed and cold look which I have seen before.

Any minute now...

And there will be a fight I have never seen before, one of them have to back out.

I don't know why but I stepped in front of Kevin giving Bhai my most convincing look, which in turn made him feel like I betrayed him.

"I can explain this. This is not what it looks, they are definitely taken from a position to make it look like this, like we are a thing. But there's nothing like that Bhai, trust me"

"Do I look like a fool to you? "

"No"

"Then step aside, let me deal with him"

"No, Bhai... Please", I felt Kevin pushing me gently aside and kept on his staring contest with my brother.Does he have a death wish? Why can't he simply understand that his arrogancy can kill him? L

"I have to thank the guy who took such beautiful pictures of us", he stated as if he doesn't give damn about this whole situation.

Within a second Bhai punched him on his face. He didn't even budged but I could see some blood on his luscious lips.
And my boy, he definitely had a death wish, he was smiling like doing it purposely to provoke Bhai.

"Leave this resort right now or get yourself killed,your choice", Bhai said fuming with anger.

" Not before taking back what's mine", he said looking towards me.

Bhai grabbed him by his collar, both looking intensely at each other.

"I have a deal for you", Kevin said.Did he not get what bhai told to him seconds ago.

" You think I will use my sister for your personal interest? "

" No, in her interest"

"What? "

"The deal is in her interest. You want her safe and I want the same, I know a place where she can be away from the eyes of the enemy"

Bhai loosened his hold on him and smirked at him.

"And I will trust you? Really? "

"You are already looking for a place to hide her, I know. So let me take care of it and I assure you that no one will be able to get close to her.And in return I want the guy in the basement, deal? "

He extended his hands.

"Not happening", Bhai stated.

The devil was dealing with my life, thank God bhai didn't accepted it.

" Okay, I want you ladies to give us some privacy", Kevin said looking towards us.

Surprisingly, Bhai too wanted us to be out of the room. He grabbed us both and closed the door on our face.

What the hell?

I tried to eavesdrop but Bhabhi dragged me away.I kept on pacing to and froth and within 5 minutes the door burst open with Bhai taking long strides towards the basement along with Kevin.

So he accepted the deal, why? What did Kevin said which made him change his mind in five minutes.

We rushed behind them but Bhai stopped and forced us to go back to our rooms.

This time I couldn't fight back to stay and took bhabhi to her room. I made her sleep for some time, she needs to rest. Everything is taking a toll on her.After assuring that she is sleeping peacefully, I left for another room to rest before my flight.

Angad made two guards to stay at the door of the room where I decided to sleep. I was feeling restless thinking about what Kevin has to do with Aditya, why did he wanted him.Lying on the bed I kept on thinking until I couldn't fight back the sleep trying to engulf me in darkness.
