Chapter 7

Kevin's POV

My flight from Paris landed on the New York airport at 4PM.I went straight to hotel from the airport because I stay there mostly and today mom has organized an art exhibition.She is a painter, a really talented one.After dad step down from the CEO position and passed it on to me, I never really get time for anything else than work.

My phone buzzed, it was Eric, my best buddy from high school days.I picked up, "Hey man, what's up? ", I asked.

" Dude, I called to ask are you free at night, if only you don't have to screw some girl".He said.

"Eric, I'm free and about screwing part the night is still long".No girl can resist my charm.

"Sounds good,me and Marcus are going to the club tonight, meet us there at 10".

"Okay I will be there".I cut the call.

After reaching the hotel, I remember that today the representative of The Uday Palace will be coming. I glanced at my watch, it was 5PM.The flight was supposed to land on 1PM.So, James must have picked up the guest already.

I went to the lobby to ask about the guest arrival where I saw a woman standing on the front desk with her back to me.She had an hourglass figure,tall,not too thin,her curly hair was cascading down reaching her waist.I don't know why I feel attracted to her, I wanted to see her face.I was moving towards her when suddenly she turned around and bumped into me.She lost her balance and was going to fall, I quickly wrapped my hands around her soft waist.Her eyes were closed, I swallowed her beauty. She had fuller lips, fine nose and then she opened her eyes, her beautiful brown doe eyes.I was blown away by her beautiful angelic face.I turned on just by looking at her.

Quickly she straighten herself and I removed my hands from her waist,she mumbled an apology but I was too stunned to speak.If she was here to work then I need to fire her. She will be a distraction for the employees and definitely for me.

I asked the receptionist about the guest arrival she told me that the guest arrived here on her own as the hotel manager was stuck due to a commotion happened in the noon.I was angry at Mr. Davis, that's not good to make the guest wait and come here on her own when I already said that I will send someone to pick up the guest.

I went to the lift,the doors were closing so I kept my foot in the middle and it opened.And she was there at the lift standing at the corner.Her beauty is hypnotizing,I went inside and stood by her side. She bite her lips and I felt my buddy stirring at the sight of her.

She was too going at the second floor.I let her get out first, then I called Mr. Davis to know about his failure.He picked up after three bells,"Good evening sir", he said.

"What was your excuse to not being able to receive the guest?", I asked.

" Sir,I'm sorry about that actually there was a commotion in the hotel, a woman came and started to ask about you.The receptionist told her that you are out of the city but she was not ready to listen. She went to your office and suite to look for you,when convinced that you were not here she said that she will wait for you in front of your office.I had to be here to control the situation, sir ", he said.

"Okay, who was the woman? ", I asked.

"Her name was Jessica, sir".

The moment he told me the name, I cut the call.How I'm going to make this woman understand that it was a one time thing. I don't do dates, gifts and love shit. She knew it very clearly from the begging but still she is behaving like we are a thing.My mind came back to the woman at lobby,Where is she?

She came at the second floor which means may be she is here for the exhibition or may be for an HR interview because the HR department is at second floor.I have to make sure she doesn't get employed here.
