I was thinking about a rational reason to satisfy him, when a knock on the door made us to look at the person standing there.

"Can I come in.",Riddhi Bhabhi came as my savior, Thank God.

"You don't have to ask Bhabhi. " I said. I heard my brother murmuring something under his breath, which I couldn't get.

Bhabhi was followed by a maid, she brought me breakfast. "Thank you so much Bhabhi, I was really hungry".The maid served it and I dig into my favorite homemade aloo parantha. I closed my eyes at the first bite of it, and it tastes like heaven.

Both of them were looking at me with gleeming eyes.

" Okay, you enjoy your breakfast, I will take my leave", Bhai said and left me with Bhabhi.

"So... What's going on Maan Baisa?", Bhabhi said with a teasing smile.

" Bhabhi, what's wrong with you and Bhai, can't I be at my home whenever I want to be", I said trying to look hurt.

"Of course Maan. But why would our  partner be calling your brother to ask about your whereabouts?",I choked on my food.

What the hell is wrong with him, why does he has to call Bhai?He didn't say anything when I was leaving ,now why he has to pull this stunt. Stupid, arrogant, mean.If I ever see him, which I hope I never will, I make sure to strangle him to death.

Did he told anything to Bhai? No, please no. I don't think he has,if he had then surely Bhai would have slit his throat by now.

Whatever, he must have called to get some information about the project. Why would he will be asking about me. Huh.

"Maan, you there",I heard Bhabhi who was nudging my shoulder to get my attention. She was looking at me with questioning eyes.

" Why would Mr. Silverstein call? I don't think there's any problem with the project, we are already making profits",I said.

"That I don't know, but he really seemed concerned about you. He said you had stopped coming to the office, without leaving any notice".She replied.

" What? That's a lie. I already told him that I won't be coming to the office, whatever decisions has to be made, we can handle that through conference calls",I tried to reason out.

Well, I told him that, my presence was not needed there. But he has to be a jerk, he thinks he can call me anytime at his office and hold meetings about anything which is not of any concern. He is not the boss of me.

"Alright, enough about this. Mumma and Dadi Sa is waiting for you. We have to discuss alot about the wedding.Come'on let's go".We left my room to join everyone at the Hall.

Ranveer was already there with mumma and Dadi Sa.My bond with Ranveer is more friendly than of a sibling. We fight,we tease and he irritates the hell out of me. But we love each other.

"So what's going on here? ", I asked them.

" We have been waiting for you, did you had your breakfast properly? ", mom asked me.

"Never had better than that",I said sitting beside mom.

"Now that you are here, you have to help me with a lot of stuffs".Ranveer said.

"And here I thought that you have grown up",I said.

"I am, but I'm never good at selecting what flower I want for the decoration, what theme should be, blah blah.... "

"You have Kavya for that, after all whatever she likes you should finalize that, what's the big deal? ".

"The big deal is she wants me to select".

" Oh, I can't help you. It's your wedding you decide how you want it", I said teasing him. I know how much he hates it when asked to select something like this.

"Whatever, you are no help".

"I hope this time you stay with us for a longer time.I want to spend time with my baby girl, like we use to do", mom said holding my hands into hers.

"Okay, enough about this. Now that you're back to home, you are not going back to New York again",Granny interrupted in the middle.

See,this is how she is, always making decisions for others."And Maanyata,I want you at my study".she stood up."Now".And then she left.

I glanced at my mother, see looked sad about something, suddenly. Well, Dadi Sa always had problems with my mother, because my father married her without her consent. Another reason, my mother is a punjabi, and my granny wanted my father to marry a princess from one of the Royal dynasties.

I followed granny into her study. She was already settled at her chair, motioning me to take the seat opposite to hers. I made my self comfortable, because somehow I know, this will take time.

"Maanyata, I want you to meet someone. Someone, whom you know very well", Granny said with a hard expression.

" Who? ", I asked.

" Aditya Singh Shekhawat".

Aditya, he is Ranveer's childhood best friend. Comes from the Royal family of jodhpur. We have known each other for a very long time. But why she wants me to meet him.

"Okay".I said. I don't want to refuse her because this time I can't escape. I have to face her no matter what she had planned for me.

She looked shocked from my response. She didn't expected me to agree.

"Good, that you learned to obey. I guess, living away from the family has surely made you value them",She said. I rolled my eyes on her."Don't you dare  roll your eyes on me, Maanyata".

" So, is that all you want, or there's a motive behind".I know her well.

"You have to promise me that you will think about whatever I'm going to tell you".I was startled. I felt my heart palpitate.

" What is it? ".I managed to speak with a weak voice.

"First you promise".

"Dadi Sa, I don't make promises. What ever it is, shoot".

"It's about time,you get married".

" What? ",Is that her new agenda to make me weak."Not happening ", I stood up from the chair, ready to exit from whatever shit she is planning to put me in.

" Maanyata, it's for your best. Aditya is the suitable man for you. He comes from a Royal Family".

"So, this is all its about. A Royal Family.I don't plan to marry Dadi Sa. Not Aditya, not any other Prince. That's it".I shut the door and made my way towards my room. Why the hell she always think that whatever she decides will be the best for us.I reached at my room, and shut the door behind me.

My head starts to ache from all this.I came here running away from one problem, now, I'm stuck into another.Enough of this I need some time to take my mind off from this.

I layed on my bed, and closed my eyes.
