Chapter 11

I advanced towards the devil's cabin to return the keys, I opened the door without knocking and the scene in front my eyes made me cringe, Mr.Silverstein was in the chair with a woman in his lap, kissing him all over his face.When they saw me,he pushed the woman to stand up from the chair.I quickly shut the door behind me and ran towards my cabin, after getting inside I sighed keeping my head at the back of the door.

I'm stupid, I should have knocked before barging inside his cabin.I closed my eyes but the picture of them together came in front on my eyes made me flush, I sat down in the chair and turned on my laptop because I want my eyes to stop seeing the flashes of them.

I heard the door knob click,and it was opened by Mr.Silverstein.I lowered my eyes so that I don't have to look at his face.I panicked, when he locked the door.

"Why did you locked it? ", I asked him trying not to freak out.

"It was not exactly what it looked.She came inside and just pounced on me, I stopped her but she was not listening to anything", he said.

" Why are you telling me this, it doesn't matter you can do whatever you want? ", I said."I'm sorry, I just barged inside without knocking ".

" Yeah, but I don't do such things in office.We should continue the evaluation, come at my office ", he said.

" I can do that from here as well", I said.

He came towards me,I startled at his closeness. He kept his hands in between the armrest and caged me.

"Why are you so stubborn, why can't you just listen sometime.You are coming on your own or should I do it in my way", he said threatening me.I just nodded in response.

I never behaved like this,When did I became so helpless around him.Before he leave I took out the keys.

"Mr.Silverstein, I don't need the car you can have it back", I said.

He closed his eyes and then he stride towards me, ready to attack.I went back with his every closing steps. He came really close when I took a step back and hit the table, he again caged me in between his arms.

"You will never learn,do you? Why do you have to disagree on everything? I'm saying this for the very last time, keep the car.And come in my cabin now", he was dangerously close to me.My heart beat raised because of his closeness, his cinnamon scent was making my mind go numb.

He left from my cabin and I followed him like a lost puppy.After coming inside his cabin he asked me to close the door.I don't know why I was feeling afraid.
We continued going through the submission.Two of them were already eliminated because they were promising the lowest rates with lowest quality of products used in manufacturing.We need high quality products with a reasonable price.

It was already 6 , and we haven't even decided which one of them is the best.
My back was paining and I was feeling tired because of the lack of sleep.

"I think you should rest a bit in the couch", he said.

" No I'm fine ", I lied because I wanted to complete this process and leave as early as possible.

" What I told you about listening to me a few hours ago", he said.

"Mr.Silverstein, I'm not your assistant who will follow your orders", I said regaining my confidence.

He smiled at me and then stood up from his chair and went to the couch.He comfortably sat there and started to work again.I too wanted to make myself comfortable, but now I will not go there at any cost. I gathered my energy and started to work.

"I don't bite, Ms.Rathore", he said.

" When did I say you do", I said.

"Then why are so afraid of me", he said.
