Hopefully, two months passed without any disaster or drama. I kept a safe distance from jerk, and he too stopped nagging me after Angad's blow.

In fact a new update on him, he is dating Sophia Williams.The same girl who appeared with Mrs.Silverstein in the office. Hope he ends up with her otherwise she too will land herself into his list of his exs.

It was a Friday night but I don't have any plans as Khalid is in Paris for their upcoming starline project.In some past days I became good friends with Lara, she had a date tonight with a doctor she met in the hospital while visiting her mom. She was nervous because she thinks she is clumsy and the guy is perfectionist,she doesn't want to ruin anything. Hope everything goes well with her, after a long she took out time for herself.

I was resting on my bed,going through my social account when I saw a message in my inbox. It was from Nicole.

Nicole:Hey

Me:Hi girl, what's up?

N: I didn't had your contact number, asked Khalid but he decides to be mean with me.

I was about to type her a message when I got another message from her.

N: BTW we girls planned a night out tomorrow, and you are coming.

M: Count me in.

N: That's good, and don't tell any of the boys.

M: Okay, but where?

N: The Top Of The Standard, best place to chill or we can go for a concert at Minton's Play House.What do you say?

M: club will do.

N:Great, we all agreed on it. So tomorrow at 10PM.

I put back the phone on night stand and laid down on the bed, closed my eyes and surrendered in the peace of sleep.

The alarm was buzzing continuously, I flutter my eyes to wipe out sleep from my eyes and turned off the alarm. I descended from bed and went to bathroom.

After having shower I went to prepare breakfast for myself.Today I have to visit the construction site to look after how much work has been done.Amir was going to meet me at the site.

I got ready and left the condo, Angad stays in a apartment near by and keeps checking up on me every now and then.
More over, two guards have been assigned to stand outside the door.
They didn't find anything suspicious around so now I drive myself to the hotel everyday, and they follow behind my car.

I turned on the engine and drove off towards the Long Island, it will take an hour to reach.I put on Bollywood songs on Radio, and jammed my song.

When I reached there, Amir was already present. I went up to him and then he took me inside the site.

The construction was going on with pace. But still it will take around two years to complete, after all it will be the best resort here with all the amenities and services.

After Amir detailed me about the buildings and their structural designs,we went outside the site.

"Why don't you visit us these days? mom was complaining.Is Khalid your only friend? "

"No, it's not like that. You know how's everything at work, I hardly get time on weekends.But tell her I will visit soon. "

He nodded and then we parted our ways. I went back to the condo and spend the rest of the day working on my laptop.
