The next evening the boys knocked on the door and looked at each other worried when all they heard were the girls crying. Luke tried the door, but it was locked. Just as he was pulling out his lockpicking set the door opened.

"What are you doing here?" Vera asked confused as she patted one of the girl's back.

"We wanted to see you," Luke said honestly.

"Well now is not a good time," she sighed exhaustedly. "Excuse me," she went to shut the door but Luke stuck his foot in the door.

"Please let us help," he pleaded. "Please."

"Fine," She sighed as she turned and winced as she took a few steps. "Hold on Selene," she called out, "Mommy is coming Selene."

"So this is Asteria?" Victor asked and she nodded as she took a few more steps then stopped to catch her breath. "Can I hold her, please?"

"Just keep patting her back," She nodded. "She likes it."

"Why do those names sound so familiar?" Nathan asked.

"Selene is the Goddess of the moon," Silas explained.

"And Asteria is the Goddess of the stars," North nodded.

"Oh, that's right," Nathan nodded. "You two use to talk about all that."

"They were born at night so it only seemed fitting," Vera said after taking a few deep breaths.

"Where is Selene?" Kota asked, "I'll go get her."

"Bassinet, living room," she said as she took a few more steps then stopped again.

"Where is Jess?" Sean asked looking around.

"I told her go," Vera took a breath, "friends, have fun."

"Can I please make sure you are okay, Pookie?" Sean asked holding her upright. "Please?"

"Time for meds," Vera nodded. "Was trying..."

"Where does Uncle keep them?" Owen asked. "I'll go get them for you."

"Bathroom," she said tightening her grip on Sean.

"Can I please pick you up?" North asked.

"She really needs to walk," Sean shook his head. "It will help with the getting the air bubbles out of her chest and retrain those cut muscles as well as prevent blood clots. I know it hurts to see her in so much pain but it really is vital that she walk."

"Fine," North growled, "but I don't like it."

"Neither do it," Sean admitted, "but it's for her safety. We don't want her to get blood clots."

"Here are your medications," Owen said.

"I changed her diaper, but she keeps crying," Kota said coming over to Vera while patting Selene's back.

"Time to feed," Vera sighed, "again."

"Do you have any pumped?" Gabe asked. "We can feed them so you can rest."

"Fridge," she nodded, "I pumped earlier since they were sleeping. I can just pump while you feed."

"There you go, Pookie, nice and easy," Sean said as they reached the couch. "Take your time."

Once she was sitting Marc handed her a cup of ice water, "I have the milk warming up in the warmer Gabe insisted we get. I'm glad we did now."

"Does Uncle know you are here?" Vera asked. "I don't want him flipping his lid."

"I just got off the phone with him," Axel said hanging up his phone. "I explained everything and he is okay with it since you are hurting. We just can't stay all day."

"Do you need something to eat?" Marc asked. "I don't want the medicine upsetting your stomach."

"Just something small to snack on," She nodded. "Thank you."

"You got it Beautiful," Marc nodded.

"You have to burp them after every ounce," She told Brandon and Corey since they were feeding the girls. "They will get upset stomachs if you don't."

"Is the pump okay Trouble?" Gabe asked, "I can find you another if you don't like that one."

"This one works great, thank you," She shook her head as she turned it on then pulled her shirt back down. "I really like how this one isn't hooked up to tubes and such. Once I am better I can walk around and pump at the same time, it will be very beneficial when I go back to working."

"You don't have to, you know?" Axel whispered since the girls were starting to drift off to sleep. "If you don't want to that is."

"But if you want to go back to work, that is up to you," Victor nodded. "We will figure out a plan so the girls don't have to go to childcare with some strangers. We can make it work, whatever you want to do."

"I'm not cleared for work for a couple of months at least with my poor blood circulation and slow healing," She shook her head, "I've got time to think about what I'm going to do next. Uncle is making me stay here until he finds a house he approves of and knows I'm 100% healed."

"Okay," Owen nodded. He knew they wanted her to move in with them and be a full family again but he also knew that they had to regain her trust and work towards repairing their relationship so for now it would have to be on her terms.

"What?" she asked shocked.

"What?" he asked confused.

"I expected more from you, I guess," She admitted. "I guess I figured you would use your Dom-ness and say to move back in with you and all that."

"As much as we would like for that to happen," he admitted, "we know we have to regain your trust."

She smiled softly, "thank you."
