"How is everything going?" Uncle asked and Veronica sighed as she sat on the bench in the gardens. "Uh oh, what's going on?"

"Oh it's not them," she sighed again, "I'm just..."

"You need to do something?" Uncle chuckled. "You can't allow yourself to let them keep paying for all the stuff the girls need?"

"Yeah," She sighed. "I mean I like it, I'm glad they are making it so I can stay home with the girls but at the same time I can't just depend on them anymore. It's just not who I am any longer."

"I have the perfect thing then," Uncle chuckled. "You can take the girls up to the diner with you and start taking over the paperwork for me. I know Kota has been handling things but you can take over so he can focus on the rest of the boys' things more. You can also take over a couple of the rentals that the families just moved out of since I'm not able to."

"That sounds like something I can do," she nodded. "Thank you, Uncle."

"Of course, Little One," he said groaning. "I appreciate it. Ugh, I have to go. Keep sending me those pics and videos."

"I will," She smiled then hung up.

"Have a good call?" She turned to see Owen standing there. She nodded then proceeded to tell him what Uncle said. "If that's what you want to do, then I will discuss it with the guys and get an office set up here for you. I'm sure Gabriel will set up a place for the girls for when you go to the diner as well."

"Really?" She asked shocked and he nodded. "I guess I expected you to protest."

"Back then we would have," he admitted. "But we understand where you were coming from now. This is something you need to do for yourself, and we support you in it. There will be times we may overstep as we work on rebuilding our relationship and our communication, but we are only trying to show how much you mean to us."

"I can't guarantee that we will ever have a relationship again, Owen," she shook her head. "You broke your oath to me and that is something that I am struggling to forgive."

"I understand that," he nodded. "It hurts but it's also the truth. We did break our promise to you and for that we are deeply sorry. But we know we have to prove to you that we have changed, you need actions not words. We will show you every day, and hopefully one day you will believe us."

"Let's just keep taking it day by day, how does that sound?" They both turned to see Axel standing behind them. "Will that work for now, Doll?"

"Okay," she nodded softly.

"Thank you," they both said smiling.

"Hey, Beautiful, the girls are acting fussy even though they just ate and have clean diapers," Marc said as he came out there.

"Okay," she said as she stood then winced and grabbed her stomach.

"Easy, Darling," Owen said quickly grabbing her arms. "You have to take it easy."

"Sorry," she gasped as she took a few steps. "Oh my sweet girls," she said once she managed to get to the living room where the girls were starting to fuss. "Where's Sean?" She asked as she sat in the rocking chair and began rocking the both of them as they nursed.

"They were still hungry?" Luke asked and she shook her head.

"They are comfort nursing," she said as she watched the girls. "They don't feel well and sound a little congested. Hopefully they aren't coming down with something."

"Sean is at the hospital," Kota said softly. "Let's get them loaded up once they are done and we can take them to see him just to make sure everything is okay."

She smiled at him gratefully, "Thank you."

Once the girls had drifted off to sleep, North and Raven carefully loaded them up and they headed to see Sean. He gave them and check up and listened, "There is nothing to worry about, Pookie," he smiled softly. "They just have allergies, most likely from the storm we had the other day, the pollen count was quite high afterwards. They will be okay. Unfortunately, with them being so young, I can't prescribe any medicine for them. We will just have to do over the counter things but actually your breastmilk is the best thing for them right now. Your body is making the antibodies that they need."

"Is that why the milk has been a slightly different color than usual?" She asked and he nodded.

"Exactly," he explained, "your body was making what the girls need. I know it's taking a lot out of you but—"

"I'm making what they need," She interrupted, "so they will just continue to nurse whenever they need to in order to make them feel better."

"They can have the milk we have stored as well," he said softly. "That way it will give your body a break and build up your supply. I'm sure Axel will know some natural ways to help them as well."

"I have a few ideas," he nodded.

"Thank you, Sean," She said sighing in relief. "I was really starting to worry."

"I'm glad you brought them in to make sure," he said honestly. "Thank you for trusting me to check on them for you. It means a lot to us."
