The men approached her room and Sean frowned when he saw the door was slightly open. "Can I ask what happened?" Erica's voice came back to them.

They froze. "We had a huge fight," Veronica's voice said back. "Like huge."

They stood there as they listened to her tell Erica what happened all those months ago. They felt like complete shit as they listened to her explain her feelings and how they refused to listen to her. They had realized how stupid they were being once they calmed down the next day and thought about what she was saying but by then she was already gone. They tried finding her to apologize and try to fix the relationship but no matter what they tried, they couldn't find her. They really hated that they taught her so many of their skills since it was now being used against them. They hadn't really thought about what would happen when they found her again other than apologize, try to regain her trust, and definitely work on their communication skills. This definitely wasn't how they expected to find her but it no longer mattered. They found her and she had their daughters. Now more than ever they needed to fix this and become a family again. Sean gasped when she admitted that she never went to the doctor after she found out she was pregnant.

"Multiples are high risk," Erica sighed, "You got extremely lucky that nothing went wrong. You really should have gone to a doctor dear."

North shook his head and walked into the room. "Are you saying you didn't go to a doctor your entire pregnancy? Have you lost your mind?"

Veronica looked up at them and tensed up.

"Hello to you too North," Veronica sighed, "Please keep it down, the girls just feel asleep."

"Pookie, you didn't go to a doctor?" Sean asked in disbelief. He couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"No, I didn't," She shook her head. "But I still was careful and took prenatal pills and they are fine so that is all that matters."

"But Pookie," Sean started to say but she shook her head. She had to know how dangerous that was.

"I'm fine and they are fine, that's it. It's already over with so there is no reason to be having this conversation. Now please leave, the girls are sleeping and I'm tired. We need to rest."

"But Pookie—"

"Come on Boys," Erica said standing up, "Let them sleep, especially her. She did just have a major operation after all, you can talk later."

"But Momma—" Gabriel protested.

Erica gave all of them her mom look and they winced as she pointed to the hall, then said in her mom voice, "Now."

They sighed as they walked back out of the room and dropped their heads in shame. "We—"

"Don't," Erica shook her head and pointed her finger at them. "Don't say a word right now."

They nodded and waited for the lashing they knew she was going to give them. They knew they deserved it and even though Erica would say she would remain unbiased in the whole situation they knew that they were wrong and handled the situation poorly. They deserved everything Erica would tell them and then some. It was only a matter of time before Uncle found out as well and that would be a whole nether tongue lashing from him. They would take it though without compliant. They could only hope that Veronica would let them show her how truly sorry they were and how they had been trying to find her to make things right. They wanted their queen back more now than ever before but they knew they would have to prove to her that it wasn't just because of the baby girls, that they wanted her back before they even knew about the babies. It would be a long road of groveling but it would be worth it.

"That girl in there has worshipped you for years. She was right, she lost herself in being the perfect little sub for you. All she wanted was to find herself again while still being with you. She wanted to contribute to the family in her own way as well as protect herself with the ability to be independent in the case anything ever happened to all of you. She knew you would always care for her, she never doubted that, but she needed to know for herself that if something were to ever happen she could take care of herself and be okay. She needed to know who she was again, that's all she was trying to tell you and you wouldn't listen. For being so damn smart and believing in family first, you sure didn't act like it. Look what it cost you," Erica said pointing to the door. "I'm very disappointed in you."

They sighed in defeat as Erica walked off. "Well, shit," Gabe groaned, "now what in the fuck do we do?"
