The three kids who were in the same room as me dashed out to see who made the noise. I heard someone screaming. And I noticed that it was Jamie Castellan. And other kids snickering.
I cursed myself. The plan was ruined. And I couldn't think of other plans. I can't save Jamie in this state. And I realized that I had my own advantage. I grinned wickedly to myself.
Hey I need you. I said.
You only 'need' me when you are in trouble? Kronos grumbled. What is it, anyway?
Can't you here anything from here? Even I heard the screaming. I said, quite annoyed.
Ah. I see. Without a warning he disconnected himself from the conversation.
Then I started to glow golden softly. 'Kronos again,' I thought to myself. I could feel the strong power rushing through my veins. I could hear his voice in my brains. And most of all, my eyes turned gold, and left his divine energy coiling over my body. My clothes had changed into his choice; all colored black, revealing a set of golden eyes look like they're the only light in my body.
Kronos walked to the place where my sister was caught. He narrowed his eyes at the sight; it was just painly awful. She was tied in ropes. And Connor Stoll was pressing his sword on her neck. Kronos and I felt a sudden rage, the rage I felt when I found out that Thalia sacrificed herself to save me and Annabeth. But this one was hotter.
Kronos calmed himself and cleared his throat. My half-brothers and half-sisters turned to look at him.
"Kronos..." Travis glared at him hard. "Why are you here again?"
"And may I ask you, what are you doing to Jamie? ARE YOU GONE OUT OF YOUR MIND?" Kronos lunged at him, blinding fast. Travis tried to tackle him, but being a Titan God of Time, Kronos slipped out of his grasp.
Seeing Jamie in front of him, Kronos cut the ropes, and gracefully helped her down. He then half-turned and everyone was shocked to see his golden eyes which had coldness. Covering my sister from every possible attacks, he faced at the Hermes kids.
"So... this is what you inherited from your father, huh?" He sighed. "Never knew that they would be this weak."
"What do you want?" Travis was growling. Connor, his brother, was having a sword in his hand.
"I didn't ask for anything." Kronos said coldly. "But I never knew that you'd hurt one of your half-sisters."
"She's... she's a-" Connor tried to say, but Kronos glared at him.
"She's possibly younger than most of you." Kronos said. "And you DARE hurting her?" His eyes turned more distant gold.
"Kronos..." Jamie murmured. Kronos looked at her, softening his gaze, and waited. "Don't you think this is time we just, like, run away?" She asked.
"Never." He muttured. "You belong here. And you have no reason to get kicked out of this camp." He looked at my sword, which was also...
Ah, yes. He spinned it fast, and the sword turned into his infamous scythe. Everyone gasped, except for Jamie. Placing the scythe in both hands, he grinned so evilly that even my sis backed up. Then I noticed that Kronos was being fueled with his anger which he channeled there when we were at Percy's cabin. This sounds like crazy, but I can't stop him. I let him do it; I'll be in his form until he disconnects himself.
He was becoming quite insane. Maybe because the enchanted power of his scythe. Maybe because he felt a sudden rage in his chest. Maybe because he cared about me and my sis so much and that he disliked almost all of demigods. My eyes, or his, reached their highest level of coldness, and I knew that Kronos had to step down, rethink again, and do whatever. But he didn't seem like doing so. I closed my eyes mentally, and prayed that my sis noticed it.
Jamie tugged Kronos' arm. He didn't react to it first, but at last, he saw her. Instead of fear, she had a smile which calms everyone down in her blue eyes. Noticing that Kronos' sanity had reached its peak and he was becoming insane, she hugged him, which made both me and him surprised.
"No one did that to me before..." Kronos murmured as he let go of Jamie. "No one."
"Then think of that as your very first hug." Jamie said.
He smiled at her. "I will." Then he leaned in and kissed her.
