The city of Mathura was illuminated. Travellers from Aryavart and beyond had graced their presence in the city.
The Yadava Clan from Dwarka had arrived earlier that day with their golden chariots and pompous musicians.
The Mathurians watched their cousins the Dwarkians with excitement as the celestial looking men and women performed various music and dance as they travelled through the kingdom.
Chariots filled with precious stones, golds, silvers in addition to Shri Krishna's favourite foods butter and ghee.
The commonfolk rejoiced as they gossiped among themselves praising Maharaj Balaram and Dwarkesh Shri Krishna as the royal Palace distributed food and drink to all the people of Mathura for three consecutive days. It was said that the special butter and ghee from Dwarka was used to make the food and that's the result of the food tasting like amirtham of the devas.
King's, Queens, Mahamantris from all the neighbouring kingdom visited Mathura. The courtier sung that after Princess Subhadhra's suyamwar, this is the most lavish celebration in whole of Mathura.
During this time a strange wandering group of Brahmins and a woman who partially hide her face navigated through the crowds. They walked towards the guard in trepidation and took the offered food before quickly slinking away.
" Is the king always this courteous?" The woman asked causing one of the men to give her a stern look.
He apologised to the guard causing the man to wave his hand away.
" The royal princesses naming ceremony had just completed this morning. Maharaj Balaram was ecstatic with the birth of the three Princess and Shri Krishna was extremely happy with the birth of his nieces. The brothers decided to celebrate this occasion for three consecutive days," The guard said causing the group to eye each other and walked away.
Inside the Palace, Aaratrika smiled widely as she watched her parents with her in laws . Aaratrika was grateful to both Vasudev and his wives as they treated Radha and Adhiratha with equal respect alike Sulabha and Vidhur.
Satyabhama walked towards Aaratrika and smiled as she hand the queen a cup of sweet yogurt.
" Dwarka's famous sweet yogurt," Bhama said and winked at Aaratrika who chuckled.
" Thank you jiji," She said sweetly and took the drink.
" Sambh! Don't run there," Bhama said and began rush away towards her naughty son while Aaratrika giggled slightly watching Sambha who gave his mother an innocent smile.
" That's Krishna's son alright," Aaratrika said to herself with a giggle.
Her smile widened as Balaram walked towards her with a beaming look.
" Someone's here for you," Balaram said causing Aaratrika to tilt her head as she looked at him with a confused smile.
Balaram chuckled and took the cup from her hands, placing it on the tray in a servant's hand before bringing her towards the corridor.
Aaratrika gasped as her eyes turned round. Her eyesbrows raised as her mouth parted open seeing the figure in front of her.
Aaratrika let out a spontaneous smile as she grabbed her skirt and ran towards the person.
