Shawn and Fredrick were pitching up the tent. The grass dried up from the rain a few nights ago, and it wasn't supposed to rain until the next week. Hailey and Rachel called themselves their emotional support group. Fredrick tried to tell them that a group is at least eleven people and how they didn't even have half of eleven.
Hailey told him that eleven can't be split in half. That caused an uproar.
The five of them, including Nicolas who wouldn't look at anyone, watched the two boys attempt to pitch a single tent.
It took an hour.
And they still needed to pitch three more.

______________________________The group decided that Hailey and Rachel could share a tent, since they only brought four. So, they gave the girls the biggest one.
The two girls were in their tent, a lantern being the only light they had. Hailey brought every pillow and stuffed animal on Earth into the tent, Rachel could swear. "We should use that camera now." Rachel said.
Hailey whipped her head to look at Rachel. "No, the heck we shouldn't!"
Rachel rolled her eyes. "Come on, maybe we'll see a deer!"
"Or a Shadowing, but okay." She followed Rachel out of the tent, hearing Fredrick and Shawn giggle about God only knows what. They went a little bit into the woods as Rachel pulled out the camera.
Hailey stared at it as Rachel looked through it. "Oh, this is sick!" Rachel laughed in amazement.
Crossing her arms, Hailey watched as Rachel looked around. Then, she looked at Hailey and her smile dropped. "Oh my God, there's a deer or something behind you!" She whispered.
Hiley froze and took the camera. "I wanna see!" She looked behind her and slowly brought the camera to her face.
Nothing.
She scoffed in disbelief and turned to Rachel. "You're a piece of crap..."
Hailey's voice trailed off in the middle of her sentence. There must've been hundreds, maybe thousands of Shadowings behind Rachel. "Hailey?" Rachel whispered.
"T-They're all behind you..." Hailey whispered back. "Look."
She handed the camera to Rachel with shaky hands, who quickly grabbed it and whipped around. Her body froze when she saw one directly in front of her face. It's blood red eyes stared into her green ones. Its sinister smile caused Rachel to grab Hailey's hand and start running.
They ran out of the woods, sighing when they saw the tents. "Shawn? Fredrick? Nick? Anyone?!" Rachel shouted; her vison blurry from running so fast. Hailey gripped her hand as they slowed down. Shawn and Fredrick heard their yelling and rushed out. Nicolas was leaning against a tree, smiling to himself, but no one noticed.
Rachel flung herself into the boys, handing them the camera. "... Hundreds of them... In woods." She muttered, giving them the camera.
Shawn looked at Fredrick as they ran into the woods. They took a while to come back, which made the girls even more nervous. When they finally came back, they were laughing. "What's so funny?" Hailey asked.
"There were just bunnies, you guys are good." Shawn answered. Letting out a breath before making eye contact with Fredrick and began laughing again.
Rachel walked towards them. "No, we know what we saw!"
