Hailey shivered as she woke up. Her arms ached and her legs trembled. She whimpered again, looking at the chains on her wrists. She felt like they got looser. That, or she got skinnier.

The door swung open and Hazel stormed in. Hailey scurried into a corner as Hazel continued to storm towards her. She knelt down and whined as Hazel gripped her chin roughly. "You idiotic BRAT! Do you have any idea of what you're doing to us?!"

Hailey cried in pain when she was roughly brought to her feet. She couldn't stand, she knew she couldn't. Hazel's grip, however, kept her standing. "Let me go."

Hazel laughed and threw Hailey to the ground. Hailey screamed, her back hitting the stone wall. Hazel smirked. "I think it's time we start some new...experiments on you."

Hazel reached down and unlocked the chains from Hailey's limbs. Hailey let out a gasp of relief. Her peace didn't last long, however, whenever she was pulled up by her hair. She went to scream, but her voice was gone. Hazel laughed loudly and drug her out of the room.

Hailey scanned the walls around her. She realized that they all had number. However, the room she was in had no number on it. She furrowed her eyebrows in frustration. She wasn't at the end of the hallway or anything, so it didn't make sense. Why didn't hers have a number?

The walls were white. Or maybe they were beige. Hailey couldn't tell, her eye vision blurry from tears. However, she could notice the red stains of blood on the walls.

She was taken to a room, a simple bed sat in the middle. The room and bed were clean. The sheets, however, were white with dark red stains. The scene made Hailey's stomach fall as she was thrown roughly onto the floor. "Get on the bed." Hazel ordered sternly.

Hailey, though she felt like she should, didn't move. Hazel tapped her foot, obviously getting impatient. Hazel growled and got into Hailey's face. She began to talk, but Hailey interrupted her by spitting in her face. "No." Her voice shook, but she stood her ground. Hazel glared and slapped Hailey in the face. Hailey gasped, but still stared at Hazel. She refused to shed a tear anymore in front of Hazel. Though she was less...evil than Harold, Hazel was still more rough with Hailey. Hailey smirked and laughed. "Hit me with your best shot. I bet I know every move of yours by now."

Hazel raised her eyebrows before smirking. "Oh, darling," She smiled as she stood up. "You couldn't handle what we have in store for you."

She opened the door and multiple Shadowings stood on the other side, led by Harold himself. Hailey smirked, laughing breathlessly. "Yeah? Try me."

"When I get my hands on them-"

"Rachel, this idea is insane." Fredrick reached for her shoulders, but she slapped them away.

"Do not touch me. Either we leave right now, or I'm leaving without you guys."

They were currently in their car in the middle of the woods. It was claimed that the secret hideout of the Shadowings was around 40 hours away. That was for driving. Rachel was insisting they leave instantly, but the others had a different plan.

"We have to wait, Rach. I know it sucks, but we can't go barging in with no plan whatsoever!" Shawn angrily ran has hands through his hair. "We have to wait until at least morning to keep going."
