I was dressed in all black, except for my white t-shirt under my suit. It was a perfect day for rain, but sadly, the sun was out instead. I was standing in the front of the group of people, with my sister on the right and Dallas' parents on the left.

Four days had gone by since the day Dallas died. It hurts just to think about it. I probably would still be crying, but I think I ran out of tears. When the police questioned me about arriving at Dallas' house in the state I was, I just said that some giant animal mauled us. Which actually was true for Dallas. I could only stand there stiffly as the pastor finished up the service. When the service was over, everyone had left except for me and his parents. We stood there in silence until Dallas' father touched my shoulder comfortingly before leaving with his teary-eyed wife.

I knelt down in from of the grave and touched the cold gravestone. It was a normal grave, which made me irritated. He deserved a colossal grave for what he did. He was everyone's hero, including mine. They just never knew it. I looked up to see the wolf sitting next to me. It twitched its ears, but said nothing. I didn't really like him before, since he technically was responsible for this mess, but I learned to like him. He is my family, after all.

I sighed and just patted its head. He looked surprised, but didn't resist. Dallas was a good friend. If it wasn't for him, I would still have the werewolf in me.

There I sat, the wolf next to me. The sun set and the moon had risen. We looked at each other and I nodded. I changed shape into a wolf. Not a werewolf, but a normal wolf. No matter what, I would still have the spirit of the Wolf in me. And with that, we quietly padded into the forest together.

Thank you for freeing me, Dallas.
