To say that Jade was unhappy in his relationship was an understatement.
He use to love the power of manipulation, arguments and lust but nowadays he just wanted peace. He did his best to fix things between him and his eldest sons and it worked with Ashton. They both had decided to at least try find a common ground and bury the hatchet and move on. It took time of course but they were happy, they spoke three to four times a week and saw each other at least three times a month.
Jade was an active grandfather to all of his grandchildren but with forgiveness comes consequences because his relationship with Jake was quite the opposite. They barely spoke or saw each other and when they did it was the basic hellos and goodbyes.
"You can never just be fucking honest!" "I am being honest." He said getting frustrated
"Did you fuck her?" "No!" And technically Jade wasn't lying
"You're lying"— "I haven't cheated on you!"
He knew about them doing stuff with other men for a while. He didn't care enough to bring it up but he knew that Megan had slept with not one but two other people and for India, he wasn't too sure about what she did but she sure as hell wasn't innocent.
"You're trying to spin this on"— "You slept with two people."
"I haven't cheated on you but I'd be lying if I said that I was still in love with you two."
"What?" Indiyah asked sadly
"I don't love you anymore. I'll always be there for our child but I don't love you anymore."
"Stop it," Megan begged
"Stop what? You wanted to hear this so here it is. I don't love you. You pushed me to this point."
They got comfortable with him chasing them for years, always trying to make things right that they forgot who Jade was.
"Y-you can't be serious."
"I'm deadass. I don't think I even care for the two of you after everything especially you Meghan."
"You're lying."
"You fucked not one but two men. I've known for months now."
