Eliana stared at the two of them with nothing but pure disgust. She hated them all over again.

20 years worth of betrayal was brought back to her as they stood together in front of her and she couldn't help but feel the pain returning.

"Didn't take that long did it?"
"Elle."

"You know he'll get bored of you.. again." She whispered with nothing but envy, "Just keep your child away from mine." She added

"What? They clearly care for each other."

"Your daughter is following your footsteps and I refuse to let my daughter be apart of such destruction."

"Eliana!" Jade called as everyone looked over at her in disbelief as if her being rude for once in her life was such a shock, as if her not allowing them to cause her pain anymore was such a terrible thing.

She couldn't help but scoff as Niko stood there shaking his head. Why was he even there?

"What? It's true." She said with a careless shrug
"What did I do to you?"

They had talked, screamed, and laughed together in these past few years. They had buried the past and decided to move forward yet here they were again.

"Everything! You don't get to ruin my life again! And your fucked daughter won't ruin my daughter's life!"

"She's our daughter"—

"What have you done for her? All you've done is bring unnecessary karma onto her because of how much of a shit person you are! I hate you jade! I wish they kept you locked up for the whole 20 years!" She spat

He stepped back feeling tears prick at his eyes.

"What's wrong with you?"
"Nothing. You just haven't met me when I'm not in love with you."

"You can't keep them away from me."
"You're a convicted criminal who's dating a washed up crackhead. It won't take much convincing."

"Eliana"—
"As soon as she wakes up we'll be gone."

That was the last thing she said before she walked away ignoring their calls.

"Dad?.. yeah, I was calling because I need a favour." She told him as she tapped her fingers against the counter nervously, "I'm sure... I need a fresh start."
