She didn't know why she did certain stuff, she just knew that she did stuff without thinking but all Shaniyah knew was that she was sitting in an abortion house, a house that her, her mother and siblings use to call home.
The memories she had here were of a time when she wasn't a drug addict, where she was innocent and didn't have such a cold heart. Before all the lies, secrets, mistakes, kids and drugs.
A time when she wasn't the cause of people being hurt leading to them hurting others and themselves. She hated to say it but she wished she could go back and not sleep with Jade or any of the other guys she slept with. Where she could go back and say no to the first line, to the first sip of lean. Where she said no and just went home but the sad truth is she couldn't go back and she was stuck. Shaniyah was stuck with all her karma from the past.
"You know running away from your life isn't going to bring you back to where it all started."
"How'd you find me?" "I'm your best friend, I'll always find you."
"Dejah. What do you want?" "To see that you're alright."
The two hadn't spoken in two whole years. Both ends weren't perfect throughout their entire friendship. It was at its best after Marcus died. Shaniyah had no one. Jade and Dejah were the only two people who were there for her but after time they just drifted. They both had kids, and their jobs and life just went by.
Dejanaih looked beautiful, she looked the same but a little more mature and that mainly came from her finding her style. It wasn't too mature but it showed that she was married and a mother.
