Alex POV:
I met a guy. I actually met him a couple of months ago and we have been talking. He is a regressor and knows I'm a flip. He knows about the rest of the group and the fact that we all live together. I've met up with him a couple of times, you could call them dates if you'd like. I really like him, and he likes me back. Everyone is going out to the park and he's gonna meet us there, maybe I'll be taking care of him for the first time. Everyone is almost as excited to meet him as I am. I am wearing a purple t-shirt with Miami written on it, my hometown, and a pair of light washed ripped jeans. I have a bag packed with some gifts for him, he told me that when he's little he really loves giraffes, so I got him some giraffe themed things. I have a blanket for us to sit on because the benches make me uncomfortable, and blankets are more cliche for a picnic. I know Cami has the food made and packed and everyone is getting ready as well. As I travel down the stairs, I see Sam and Dylan with Tommy and Tyler getting their shoes on, as well as Marah and Madison helping pack the rest of the little things.
"Hey Al, can you come help me get Dylan's shoes on?" Dylan must have woken up in a mood today if he won't even put shoes on
"Yeah, sure Tom, one sec," I place down my bag onto a chair and head over to the bench by the front door where I see Dylan sitting in Tommy's lap, with tears threatening to fall from the boy's eyes. I calmly pick up Dylan's lilac-colored high tops and slip them over his white socks, I tie them quickly and tap him on the leg to show that he's all done.
"Thank Al, he's not a very happy boy and he won't go by Cami or Marah, just me and Tyler.
"Yeah, no problem. Did he take his meds?" I ask, seeing if that's why he's acting out. Tommy nods in response and I give him a sympathetic look. Dylan is just not in a good mood today.
"Al? Are you over there?" I hear Cami calling from the kitchen.
"Yeah, I'll come around in a second," I respond, quickly turning to get into the kitchen to see what Cami needs.
"Oh hey, you look nice. Okay to the point, are there any foods you see in the basket that Benji can't have?" She is really happy for me, and I can see it in her eyes. I scan through the basket, there's nothing in there he can't have or doesn't like.
"No, it all looks good. Thanks Cam," I pull her into a side hug to thank her. I look over to see Tyler walk into view with Sam in his arms. The two are inseparable, it's adorable to say the least. I see Sam has a sheep stuffie and a white paci that has little lamb spelled out on it. He's wearing a light blue shirt with some black overall shorts, and he has a pair of black converse. Tyler is in his casual wear, black sneakers, white shirt and jeans. Ty grabs his keys off of the hook and tells Cami he's gonna take his car with Tommy, Dylan, Sam and Madison. Thank the lord for third row seating otherwise we would have to take three cars everywhere. The group of them travel out to get the car ready and everyone into it. Cami and Marah grab the two other bags, one for food and drinks and one for the littles and bring them out to Cam's car. I grab the bag I have for Benji and head out to the car with everyone else. It's a short ride to the park and we are there in about 15 minutes. We unload the cars and get a safe spot set up for the littles. Tyler and Cami explain the rules to them and then they are free to go off and play for a bit, Tommy goes over with them, so they don't run off on their own. I get my blanket set out and the rest of my stuff sits in the bag still. With all of the littles and Tommy gone it leaves me to help Tyler and Cami set up everything for the day. We came here on a day where none of us work or have any classes, and normally this park is pretty empty. I hear my phone buzz, I got a message from Benji, telling me he's here and that he can see me. I turn around and see him walk down from the blacktop and into the grass to come meet me. I run over to him, and we both do a quick hug before walking over to where everything is set up. Tyler is the first to come over and introduce himself. Tyler is quite an intimidating guy if you don't know him. Benji and I are both 5"6 standing next to a 6"2 muscular guy. It's hard to keep your cool, and Tyler knows it. I quickly shoot Tyler a look of dissaproval and he backs off claiming he has to go finish setting up for the day. I bring him over to meet Cami next.
