Chapter 28

During the drive Cheryl was groaning from the pain and soon Toni gave her her hand to squeeze when she feels a contraction. That happened a lot and Toni felt like her hand was going to break but that wasn't even near to the pain Cheryl was going through.

Soon they arrived and as soon as they were inside the hospital, they walked to the reception and Toni said,"My fiancée is going into labor."

Basically immediately they got a wheel chair where Cheryl sat and was wheeled into the delivery room. Toni was holding her hand the whole time.

Soon they were alone in the room and Toni had already brought all the bags from the car. Cheryl got a shot to help her with the pain and it was working.

Toni sat on the bed next to her and their hands were intertwined and Toni was caressing her hair while Cheryl had her eyes closed.

"My love, you should call my mom and everyone else," Cheryl said opening her eyes and looking up at her love.

"Are you sure? I don't want to leave you alone," Toni said.

"Yes i'm sure, they need to know but you can do it right here," Cheryl said and Toni reluctantly agreed.

Toni took her phone in hand and picked Penelope's name from the contacts and called her. She picked up in a few seconds.

"Hey Toni, what's going on?" Penelope asked.

"Hey, just wanted to call and say Cheryl went into labor and we're at the hospital. Thought you might want to be here," Toni said.

"Oh my god, is she okay? And yes of course we'll come," Penelope asked worried.

"Yes she's okay right now but maybe bring Violet a little later because we don't know how long it will take," Toni said.

"Okay then, well bye. Tell her to be strong," Penelope said.

"I will even though she is strong already but bye," Toni said and ended the call.

She put the phone on the couch which was in the room for Toni or more threw. When she looked back, Cheryl was looking at her.

"She'll come later with everyone else and will bring Vi a little later," Toni said.

"Okay," Cheryl said and puckered her lips.

Toni laughed and kissed her lips. When they pulled away, Toni said,"If you want her to be in the room while you're giving birth I can call her again."

"No everything's okay, I just need you," Cheryl said and smiled up at her.

They kissed once more and soon the doctor came to check on her. They said she would give birth soon so they just had to wait.

About 2 hours later...

Cheryl's now fully in labor and ready to give birth. Everyone is already outside waiting. Inside Cheryl is getting ready to give birth and Toni can tell she's nervous so she kissed her forehead and said,"I'll be here the whole time okay, squeeze my hand anytime you need to."

"But I don't want to hurt you," Cheryl said.

"Don't worry about that just think about our baby boy," Toni said and squeezed her hand.

And it was time to start pushing. Cheryl was in pain and it was hard for her. She was sweating and screaming of pain. Toni occasionally wiped her forehead with a wipe.

Soon you could hear the cries of a baby, their baby boy. Cheryl was still in pain but her face changed into a smile once she saw her baby on her chest.

They took the baby to clean him and everything and called Toni to cut the cord. Once everything was done they laid him down on his mother's chest again.
