Sakuya, Yukio and I soon walked into Yukio sister's boutique. The shop was decorated with loads of kimonos and accessories and there was a shelf which had rolls of cloth. And when they came inside, there was an elderly man who was wearing a kimono which came from the Heian period.
"Ahh, Yukio! I see you brought some friends." The elderly man smiled.
"Good afternoon, Mr. Uso!" Yukio cheered.
"Good afternoon, sir." Sakuya greeted.
"Is my sister here?" Yukio asked.
"No. Did you want to see her?" Mr. Uso said.
"No, I just wanted to know since I've got a human over and you know how she is." Yukio replied.
"Um, hi." I waved timidly.
"Oh, hello!" Mr. Uso smiled.
"Um, do you have any kimonos?" I asked.
"Yes, of course!" Mr. Uso soon pulled out a box from the shelf, "We actually have a very new design that is being sold right now. It's quite popular!"
He soon opened up the box to show a black kimono with some red and gold detailing.
"Oh, wow. It's beautiful." I replied, "How much does it cost?"
"¥7000." Mr. Uso replied.
"I'll take it!" I cheered.
"Wonderful!" Mr. Uso beamed.
Mr. Uso soon packed the kimono into a box and I paid for it and took the box in my hands.
Soon the bell for the door rung. A regal and elegant lady with elaborate clothing and her white hair ran in. She was also... well endowed.
"Mr. Uso!" The lady shouted, "Read this!"
The lady soon slammed a newspaper onto the counter. Mr. Uso soon picked it up and read it.
"Oh my." Mr. Uso gasped.
"How could this have happened?!" The lady shrieked.
"Yukina, what's going on?" Yukio asked.
"Look for yourself!" Yukina yelled.
Yukio soon walked up to the cashier counter, "May I please?"
"Sure." Mr. Uso handed over the newspaper to Yukio.
Yukio began to peer into the newspaper.
"Oh goodness..." Yukio's eyes widened.
He soon glanced at me for a bit, specifically at the box I was holding.
Why was he looking at me?
"Nami, give me that please." Yukio said.
"Uuh... Sure." I held out the box for Yukio.
He soon took it and put it back onto the counter. And he soon went into the cash register and took out some money. He soon walked back to me and handed the cash to me.
"Yukio, what are you doing?" I arched an eyebrow.
"There have been reports that kimonos from this shop are somehow killing people." Yukio stated.
"What?!" Sakuya and I yelped.
"So you're against me?!" Yukina pointed accusingly at Yukio.
"I'm not saying that at all!" Yukio replied, "What happened is horrible and I don't think you have anything to gain from this! But if the kimonos are indeed killing people and it's not just some coincidence then I can't let other people get risked!"
