I woke up to my alarm, rolled out of bed and turned it off, got dressed, left my room and had breakfast, said goodbye to Erika, and left to go to school. I saw a few more trucks with planks in the back, and I heard mixed opinions from people walking by me. One guy walking by me told his friend they need to get some boards as well, and a little while later another guy passing by me while telling his friend people are stupid for buying planks.

I eventually reached school and made my way to my maths class. Not long after being seated, my teacher walked inside and sat down. She seemed a bit distracted and would often shift around in her seat. A few other students were acting similar to her, and it was obvious why.

Today we just had the review sheets from yesterday to do, and when we're down we can do what we want as long as we don't distract other students. Since I finished my work during my spare time yesterday I could go on my phone.

When I was fucking around on it, I came across stuff relating to my town. The mayor was receiving some backlash for agreeing to the experiment, a few people were arrested and given a very hefty fine for taking anti-heat pills when they weren't allowed, some people were planning on leaving town, and some soldiers were coming to block off the roads at 12am so no one can get in or out during the week.

They're having soldiers do that job because they want police to stay in town to see how they handle things. Unfortunately, from what I've read the majority of police in this town are female anthros, which some people theorize to be purposely planned by the mayor.

I wanted to talk with Ollie about this stuff but some people were still working. I was on my phone until I noticed Molly doing the occasional glance at me. During one of her glances, I looked at her and we locked eyes again.

"What's your problem?" I whispered.

"You were being a prick to me yesterday." She whispered back.

"You started that shit."

"I told you to shut up so I can do my work, you told me to fuck off you dumb bastard. You're also the first person to try and start shit with me in a while."

"Do I get a medal?" I sarcastically whispered.

She glared at me before kicking my desk, pushing it out of place and knocking a couple of things off. I retaliated by kicking her desk as well. She looked stunned for a few seconds before whispering, "I can't tell if you're a ballsy fucking jackass or a retarded cunt."

"I already told you what I think yesterday, and I don't care," I replied before going back to my phone.

Class continued, the two of us occasionally kicking each other, and during one kick I noticed a little smirk on her face. During the last 10 minutes, everyone finished their work so we didn't have to be quiet anymore.

"So Ollie, what are you doing tonight?" I asked.

"Everett and I are planning on camping out in our secret spot."

"How did you manage to get your parent's permission?"

"That's the thing, I didn't. My mom's out of town so I can do whatever I want, and Everett's parents are going out to celebrate their anniversary with Hannah's parents."

"Why are they doing that?"

"It's their ten-year anniversary, and they want to do something with their friends before being isolated for a week."

I sighed because what they were doing is stupid. If they're not back before 12 tonight they'll not be allowed into town. Besides that, I'll try to see if I can hang out with my friends tonight.
