Heatwave

Chapter 4

I was woken up by knocking on my bedroom door. I looked around my room and it seemed to be really early in the morning, probably around 5 am.

My mind felt like it was running on fumes because I was woken up really early.

"What?" I tiredly asked.

"Dan, I need you for something, can you leave your room?" Erika asked.

"Why? Whats going on?"

"I just need you to come outside, I dont know how long this will take us, maybe the next few hours."

I sighed and rolled out of bed. When I was reaching for the doorknob my mind started to come to life and I stopped.

She was breathing very loudly, almost like she trying to catch her breath from running or something.

My mind started to recollect how she was acting last night, and now theres this suspcuiocus behaviour.

I wasn't going to open that door, and I didnt want her to open it herself so I locked it.

"Hurry up Dan, I can barely wait any longer." Erika said as I started to get dressed.

After a minute fo me not answering the door she must've realized I wasn't leaving and tried the doorknob. Once she realized it was locked, she started knocking in the door and begging, "Let me in please! I need you to help me right now! Please!"

I was halfway through getting dressed she said, "Dan please! I need you right now, I- wait... this is one of those locks that can be opened with a coin."

I heard her leave and start rummaging around. I quickly finished getting dressed and looked around.

My window was the only way of getting out of here so I quickly grabbed my phone and opened the window as she came back to my door.

She started to unlock it as I stuck my legs through. I could hear the door open as I dropped down to the ground below, hurting my legs a bit.

I ran over to our backyard fence and started to climb over at and Erika yelled, "Please come back! I need to fuck you please!"

I didn't listen and just ran in a random direction. I ended up in the part of town with rows of store and stopped running to catch my breath and figure out what to do next.

I looked around and everything was empty. Most people in town were probably sleeping or isolating, along with most of the anthros in heat. Erika woke up early, so there's a chance other anthros were up and looking for guys.

As I was catching my breath, I heard foot steps coming from around the coner of the store I was standing next to. I watched as a male coyote antho stepped into view and look at me.

"The fuck are you doing out here?" He asked.

"An anthro in heat chased me out of my house!" I explained

"Jesus, you're overreacting, the heat isn't that bad. My girl's in my house right now sleeping and she seemed normal."

I knew I wasn't going to get anywhere with him so I was about to walk away. Before I could actually move though, he said, "Hold up, I recognize you. You're that little fucker from the alley."

I remembered who he was as he continued saying, "You're fucking dead buddy."

He took one step towards me and looked to his left.

"Babe?" He said right before a female coyote tackled him down.

She started to rip his clothes apart as I ran away.
