Six Months Later, Bucharest

I held Bucky's hand while pushing my glasses up my nose as we examined different stands up and down the street. We had left Italy about a month after being there and had come to Bucharest and have been here ever since. It was been the easiest staying low location we have been at and I loved the atmosphere. Plus, it was a new portion of Romania, and we enjoyed Romania so much the first time we were here. Bucky has also grown very clingy and every time we go out in public he has to hold my hand, because it ensures that I'm still with him. Especially after my episode our first night in Italy. We have also began to start experimenting with trying to get the trigger words out of his mind.

"Fructe?" Bucky stopped at the stand while pulling his hat down and examining the plums. Did I mention we had studied the Romanian language? It's so attractive hearing him speak it.

"Da," I smiled as I examined the fruit with him. He had exchanged conversation with the seller while I looked around because despite us being so good at laying low here lately, I still couldn't ignore that someone may be looking. I connected eyes with a newspaper stand seller who tensed at the sight of me and looked up and down at the newspaper in his stand. I knitted my brows as I tugged Bucky's hand and he looked over seeing the newspaper boy. I looked back at Bucky seeing he was still in the process of paying for the fruit so I let go of his hand and headed toward the newspaper stand.

As he saw me walking over to him and he showed some worry on his face as I approached.

"Esti în pericol?" he questioned quickly. I narrowed my eyes trying to decipher what he was asking, and by the time I realized he was asking if I was in danger he had started to run away. I knitted my brows then felt a hand on my shoulder that made me jump and turn around.

"Why did you just run off like that?" Bucky asked worriedly.

"The paper boy," I said slowly as I grabbed the paper he was looking at.

Still Missing: Agent Elizabeth Rogers.
Authorities still say that James Buchanan Barnes or The Winter Solider is keeping Agent Rogers hostage. Barnes was spotted at the bombing at the signing ceremony of the Sokovia Accords where Wakanda monarch King T'Chaka had been murdered. Authorities say Barnes is working on turning Agent Rogers into his own solider. More on this story as it develops.

"Bucky .. " I looked up worried.

"C'mon," Bucky put the newspaper down and dragged me down the street with his arm around my shoulders in an attempt to keep our faces close to hide. "How did they even get a picture of me?" he muttered angrily.

"Where did they get the idea that you kidnapped me?" I rambled as we turned into the building we were staying in and ran up the stairs.

"I don't know, doll but we need to go somewhere else. I really think you should've gone with the people when we were in Romania the first time. You wouldn't be a part of this running, you would be safe," he sighed in frustration as he opened the door and allowed me to go in first. I began to protest but heard a voice that took both Bucky and I by surprise. He threw his arm in front of me out of instinct.

"I agree, she would be safe if she had just come home the first time."

The body turned around with his shield in hand in his uniform. My breath hitched in the back of my throat as my eye brows knitted slightly as I locked eyes with him. I placed my eyes on top of Bucky's arm and slowly lowered it as I took some steps forward.
