Hatred is a poison
They'd say, "Pick your poison!"
But hatred is your own personal poison
It destroys everthing good
You have inside, outside
Surrounding you,
Within you
Hatred is such a poison
You'd hate people for no reason
Especially, for something
That they cannot control
Like their race, their gender
What they see, how they perceive
This broken world
Hatred distorts your reality
It closes your mind up,
It makes it extremely small
Like a bud that's not ready
To blossom into a full flower
Shattering what you thought
You knew or didn't know
Your ignorance is not a mask
You can hide behind any longer
The world has finally opened
Its eyes to the hatred that this world provide
For people who're trying just not to die.
I'm begging you,
If you have hate in your heart
Right now, let it go!
It's not worth it, trust me.
I wish I didn't let it coils
Sink into me and turned me
Into someone I didn't know
Into someone I hated.
Into someone I destroyed
Before I could even live.
Hatred is poisonous,
Let it go.
You'll be lighter.
And more free
And more open to love
Which is extremely better
Trust me...
